i was diagnosed with bih in 2006 and ive been in and out of hospital since i was put on diamox xmas 2006 and i came off it noz 2007 and so far all has been fine no headaches anything and i noticed over the weekend that my left eye ball seems swollen compared to the right my eye lid is covering more of my left eye due to it being swollen. there is no pain or blurred vision or anything really and i just wondered if this could be anything to do with raised pressure again?
Iam 25 weeks & 4 dayss i get swollen feet if i walk alot or wear closed shoes.... I dont exercise much i do drink water.... Is this normal????! Iam worried about pre cleempsia!! I havent seen my doctor till one more week......

I wake up in the morning with the area around my left eye very swollen. And my eye is slightly "teary".
I've been told by and eye doctor that I have allergy eyes, but I've tried allergy meds. and they do not seem to help.

The outside is purple and red and the inside is bright red and the lumps are growing. It is very painful when its open, but even more when its closed. Help? Its blurring my vision in my left eye, my pupil is very dilated, and its getting harder and harder to see. I need this infection gone!

My 18 month old son when was at home after having the food started itching both eyes. After few minute we saw that both his eye lids are swollen.There is no red-eye, but eye lid is swollen. It is bit itchy, but my son is playful and not crying.
The food he had was the banana yogut, which he does have it. We did go out to park yesterday evening, but he got this eye swelling only today evening.
Can you please guide me what this could be related to and can we take some eye drops ?
He normally will have a little eye redness after being groomed but when my husband brought him him I was shocked. The whole membrane around his eye was red and swollen. I posted a picture on facwbook and I have a friend who is a groomer and use to work for a vet and said this looked like it came from being choked by the harness. It is not cherry eye since that is in the corner of the eye. Could this have come from being choked?
My 4 year old dughter has a blister like thing in the inner corner of lower eye lid, the outside of the inner corner is swollen and has a redish purple color. I have seen stys, this looks different.

I can only see on one eye. the 'good' eye suddenly deteriorated within the last 2-3 months. my vison used to be 20/25, now it is 20/50.
After tests today the Doctor said that the swelling of the retina has increased since last year, but that he is afraid to do surgery since it is my only 'good' eye. my other eye is a lazy eye. When I was 4 years old they gave me glasses to correct my 'cross-eye' and that created a lazy eye.
I worn contacts sometimes, but when my vision got bad again I stopped using contacts. Since this summer, I noticed my left eye lid have been swollen. I have been told by my second doctor that that was because of allergies. She prescribed me anti-allergy drops but it didn't help. She also advised me warm presses, and it didn't help. However, now I switched back to the first doctor, she said that the swollen eye was due to the damage on my cornea.
On monday and bp was high so I got sent to labor and delivery and had to have my baby at 35+6 weeks ... Shes soo beautiful and healthy .. Wish you luck ..
I have a friend who has never had any known allergies, nothing strange has ever happened really, and he's quite healthy. We were watching a movie and when it was over I looked over and the area just below his right eye (but not on the eyelid) was swollen so much he couldn't look down. It was very squishy.. like one huge, tough blister.
Over the last six months i am having recurrent swollen eyelid, only one eye at a time but can be either eye, usually lasts 1 or 2 days, only upper eyelid, no pain, itchyness, blurry vision or bloodshot eyes. Had reoccured every 2-3 wks, have had 9wks now when it hasn't happened, and yesterday it reoccurred. GP has tested for thyroid problems, all clear. I have psoriatic arthrits, my consultant says its not related, can you help?
On January 15th, I had cateract surgery on my right eye. I have a had a cloudy eye since then, with very little imporvement. In fact, almost none at all. I ahve take drops that the opthamolgist prescribed/ He id say it would take some time to correct or he mentioned something about going in and scraping the conre...or if it doesn't get better, I mite need a cornea transplant.

Hi I woke up yesterday with a gunky and slightly swollen eye. It wasn't too bad through out the day. However I have woke up this morning with a severely swollen stuck together eye. My eye is red and when I try and blink my eyeball and around feels bruised. I look like I have been in a fight. I can't see out of it at all as onlt open a slit. I have a bad headache with it and just want to go and close my eyes and lay down. I keep getting cold.
