My toes are red at ends, kind of soft and a bit swollen. very red with a little pinch. The skin beneath in a couple spots is a little crusty. Toes do not hurt, but at first were itchy inside, not something that would make one want to scratch. My feet get so hot at night that I can't stand covers. There are no blisters between toes. What can this be?
About a week ago I was hospitlaized for chest pains and swollen ankles. I had an echo and a cardio cath done to see if there were any blockages. To my surprise there was no blockages. the doctors placed me on meds for hypertention and gave me a water pill, I do not have the pain in my chest anymore but I still have the swelling in my ankles and it seems to be getting worse what could be going on?
I am 46 years old. For the last week or so my ankles have been very swollen. I have a rash, kinda looks like a razor rash, it hurts to the touch. Feels like bruising underneath but not discolored like a bruise would be. I dont have any insurance and it is hard to see a doc. Just wondering if anyone else ever had these symptoms. Oh, and in the morning when I get out of bed and walk my ankles feel like they are burning, on fire.

Over the year I've been getting these little red dots all on my feet and ankles. They don't itch and there is no pain.

I don't know bout the rest of you ladies but my ankles/cankles gave been swollen for the past two weeks....every single morning started off swollen. I'm 37 weeks. Woke up at 430am, I know its horrible n to my surprise, i just looked down. My ankles look normal. I am so excited it brought a smile to my face. I enjoy the little things in life.
very swollen hands and feet and lots of bumps on my skin (mostly red). I had to take pills for a week afterwards or the bumps would come back. The doctor said it looked like an allergic reaction but all allergy tests came back negative.

The usual answer looking at Amalodipine side effects is swollen feet or/and more common is swollen ankles. I find that this is not the case with me, and want to know my problem. I get spongy feet, where I feel the part of my feet between underside of foot and the underside of bone feels spongy when I walk, it is very uncomfortable, it does not happen all the time but is uncomfortable about 3 days in 7.
After a weekend of trying to rest my joints and feeling really relieved that the pain had reduced I went back to work Monday with less swelling and ankle joints that looked marginally less red and angry. Did you ever figure out what the issue is? I also have swollen ankles, feet, and lower legs too. My doctor is sending me to neurology. It's so bad sometimes I can't walk well and I pull muscles/tendons. It can also be very painful. I don't have the red splotches or numb spots that you describe. Like you, I watch my sodium, don't sit or stand for too long, and have had all the blood tests I should.
