swollen ankles lower legs

So I'm 33 weeks and my legs are starting to swell. Not my ankles and feet which is strange but I feel like my legs are going to pop at the end of the day...anyone else feel my pain?

ve heard nothing but bad things about swollen legs/ankles.. that was one of the first signs that my cousin had when she went in to the hospital around 4/5 months pregnant & found out her blood pressure was way too high.. like unreal.. she used to get horrible headaches, swollen legs/ankles, and before it could be controlled it was too late.. not trying to scare you, but I would see my doctor about it.. praying for you!

I am at work at the moment and all of a sudden my foot started stinging. After about 30 seconds the stinging was quite dull but i looked down at my foot and it was huge!!! i elevated it but it just got bigger. I'm on 50mg Imuran and 25mg Prednisolone daily. Wondering if either of these could be contributing but swollen feet and lower legs is supposed to be a rare side effect of Imuran but I've had swollen feet and legs since I started taking it...

I am 28 weeks and today my ankles have swollen very bad I now have pains in my legs and lower back pain

Did you ever figure out what the issue is? I also have swollen ankles, feet, and lower legs too. My doctor is sending me to neurology. It's so bad sometimes I can't walk well and I pull muscles/tendons. It can also be very painful. I don't have the red splotches or numb spots that you describe. Like you, I watch my sodium, don't sit or stand for too long, and have had all the blood tests I should.

I also have swollen legs and ankles. It is from my Hep-c and I have cirrhosis. my guess is it is from the hep-c, but go to Doctor and make sure. And yes you should still walk/ exercise is good for the liver when you have hep-c.

m 38 weeks and my ankles are so swollen that i can barley walk some days. My parents literally make me sit With my legs elevated above my heart all day until they see a change. If they don't see a change i have to do this multiple days. Also salt could be a reason why you are retaining water.

My feet look terrible, my toes literally look like mini sausages, my ankles are more like cankles now lol and my legs have gotten swollen too. Try to stay off your feet as much as you can. When your laying down or sitting, prop them up on something. As for the hurting it could be from the exrta baby weight you're carrying now that your little one is getting bigger quicker. I know my tibia and fibia are sore. My doctor keeps checking them to make sure they aren't bowed or anything.

My ankles and calfs are really swollen. Im 22 weeks and 3 days. My doc says its normal but im worried because i lost my water bag at time during my last pregnancy. Any advice?

I've been swelling in my legs, ankles, feet, & hands for a few years, & I'm just recently receiving the help I've been desperately seeking. My GI doctor has ordered a liver biopsy to begin a round of treatment for Hep C (my second round) but she hasn't confirmed if my swelling is from the Hep. My question is: can chronic Hep C cause severe swelling in basically everything?

Ok so I'm supposed to keep an eye out if my ankles get swollen. And I think they are but I'm not sure. I also have a weird feeling in.both my legs and I'm not sure why. Hello, I am a 23 year old woman that has periodically been suffering from swelling in my legs, ankles, and feet. Most of the time the swelling is minimal and tolerable, however, I recently went on a trip to Asia. On the plane ride back, my feet had swollen so large they could not fit in any of my shoes. They were very painful, and I could see the fluid bulging under my skin. Despite icing them and propping them up, it took several days for the swelling to completely go away.

My whole pregnancy I have had a little swelling in my hands, feet, lower legs and ankles.. Buut I've never had anything like this with ANY of my other pregnancies, jus a little swelling that comes and goes. My 6 month old son was wearing shoes with elastic around the ankles and when I took them off, his feet were swollen. This hasn't happened before with same shoes. One of his lower legs is also swollen. He hasn't been wearing the shoes for over two hours and they are still swollen. We put them in ice water, and then a warm bath. Woke up this morning with swollen knees. My legs, feet and ankles are not swollen, but they are sore. My omg my knees hurt. :( I'm planning on putting a heating pad on them. Hopefully that helps. Just a little bit longer! 6 more weeks!
