swollen ankles help

I'm 37w4d and my ankles used to only swell by the end of the day too, now I wake up with swollen ankles & feet and it hurts to even walk. Putting my feet up doesn't help me.

My ankles and calfs are really swollen. Im 22 weeks and 3 days. My doc says its normal but im worried because i lost my water bag at time during my last pregnancy. Any advice?

My feet, ankles and lower legs tend to swell most days, especially if I'm up on my feet all day (at work for example). But the doctor isn't concerned. I puff up all day and piddle all night. Perhaps it's just my old blood vessels aren't working as well as they used to. Don't have varicose veins so who knows? I follow a low sodium diet just because it's the smart thing to do. Also learned more about it when my Dad was diagnosed with heart failure. Wanted to support him.

m 38 weeks and my ankles are so swollen that i can barley walk some days. My parents literally make me sit With my legs elevated above my heart all day until they see a change. If they don't see a change i have to do this multiple days. Also salt could be a reason why you are retaining water.

I've been having major problems with swollen ankles over and over. I am on a salt free diet and I eat as healthy as I possibly can. Drink lots of water to flush those kidneys out too. Ive had severely swollen ankles with both my prrgnancies but nvr swollen face and legs. Did ur doctor check for protein in ur urine? If your urine was normal then i guess your just one of the lucky ones who gets the bonus swelling. :) Ill be praying for you and baby. Take care of yourself and try to relax youre almost there.

This could be many things from water imbalance, heart problems causing edema, diabetes causing burning in feet, neurological, bone injury. It is impossible to know without testing and examination by a doctor. ONLY A DOCTOR CAN DIAGNOSE YOU.
