Avatar f tn This all started after a severe reaction to a medication which caused my whole body to twitch uncontrollably. In the ER, they told me my problem wa simply that I needed to calm down and sent me home twitching all over, and so dizzy I had to hold the walls to stand. The next day, a family practictioner realized what was really going on, and took me off the offending medication. Anyway, I was diagnosed bipolar II a couple years ago. Since then, I can't receive medical care.

If you are having problems with mania you might want to talk to your doctor about adding an antipsychotic. There are so many too many to list and there can be so many different combinations too. You should talk to your doctor about the specific symptoms you are having...
4975205 tn?1361974347 Depending on your pain and what wrong with you, a long acting medication might be better, but you definitely want to talk with your doctor. Also be careful because if you're going to need surgery, (if you haven't already, that is) your going to want to be able to achieve post-op pain control, which will be better if you keep your narcotic dose smaller, but again, just something to keep in mind when you talk with your doctor.
1130095 tn?1267369259 Ask your doctor about Topamax. I had daily headaches for years and this is the only thing that has helped. What most likely is happening is your pain is causing the headaches but the pills or some of the pills your taking are causing "rebound headaches" a lot of pain medications do that. I didn't know that for years and I was suffering. Diclofenac comes in a topical form, if that helps see if the doctor will give it to you that way.

Avatar f tn You really should talk to your doctor more indepth about the risks if you start the medication again or if you choose not to take it. Avatar n tn I strongly dissagree with this assumption that just because a doctor or even Psychiatrist says a medication combination is safe, that you should always trust them. Doctors and Psychiatrist make mistakes much more often than you may think. I personnaly know several people that were almost killed by doctors that prescribed dangerous combinations of Psychotropic medication to them.
