true what cattalina says...the naloxone in suboxone has some side effects with number one being headaches....try subutex..make a plan...what was ur DOC and how much daily did u take? too much of these drugs/sub or subutes carry lots of side effects..and doctors seem to oer prescribe sub..too much causes drowsiness, fogginess etc..
the naloxone in suboxone is what often causes the headaches....subutex does not have naloxone in it...
I am on suboxone but don't have any of these side effects. I'm sure his body is going through alot right now with the switch, but I would check with his sub doctor to be sure.

The itching started small after a few weeks on Sub But now I scratch everywhere there is hair and just below my knees , my back arms, and high on my butt.

There should be some good information and warning info that came with your prescription of suboxone. The side effects are typical of any other type of an opiate - the big cautioin is that you don't want to be taking large doses of benzo meds like xanax or valium with suboxone, that can be a deadly combinatioin. Check for the informatioin with your meds and talk with your doctor.
i want to know the side effects of saboxone, long n short term. ive been taken 1 to 2 saboxone a day. im not even into pills but when i tried it, i like the feeling. and i want to know the side effects, i heard memory loss was one? i took 2 **** tests on it and i passed. if anyone knows for sure please let me know, thank you.

I have looked all over for this, my doctor says not available in canada, only suboxone, looking at leaflet the side effects are crazy yet subutex, nothing! I have a problem with naloxone, need straight SUBUTEX! I can't find proper details about this, anyone help, BTW
I AM NOT AN ADDICT! I have never abused heroin or injected anything, etc........ If you look at leaflet, a page and a half of "side effects for suboxone where, only i small paragraph for subtex!
So today my Celexa dose was upped from half a pill to 1 whole pill and the side effects are coming back like when I first started... Sweaty, can't sleep, headache, stiff neck, clenching teeth... Etc. I don't know what to do. I tried taking stuff for it, including an Oxy but still no change. What can I take to make these side effects not so bad? I don't see the dr till Thursday, so I can't ask her... If anyone has any suggestions?

I tried the SUB but the side effects were to much for me (I got like all the side effects it carries,My body shuts down) but 2 days on SUB got me 10 days of being sober(WORKS GREAT FOR THE CRAVINGS). Actually, suboxone does halt both cravings and wd's from full opiate agonists. The reason why suboxone works so well is from several aspects. It has a strong agonistic capability which causes it to partially activate the Mu (Opiate) receptors. It is also suspected to activate Kappa receptors on a partial level as well.
Another side is Buprenorphines high binding affinity on the Mu receptors...
My husband developed squamous cell carcinoma 5 years ago. After 8 weeks of intensive radiation treatments, along with chemo, his behavior also changed. He doesn't remember things!!
