Suboxone out of system

Common Questions and Answers about Suboxone out of system

suboxone

Avatar m tn I have been clean from suboxone since Jan 1st, 2014, and YES, it took about 1 1/2 to 2 days before I started feeling really ******. Your dose seems pretty high ( mine was 24mg ) so not judging....want to make you aware that at some point you should probably consider getting off of these things. As of now, you have 5 months in...the longer you stay on it, the harder it's going to be to get off so keep this in the back of your mind.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am 35 years old and on 4 mgs of suboxone a day and am slowly tapering off. I would like to conceive a child in the future and am concerned about the effects the suboxone might have on my ability to conceive. Can you please tell me if suboxone adversely affects fertility in people? Also, I went for an ultrasound today just to check up my reproductive organs and although the ultrasound tech wouldn't give me any answers she did ask me two odd questions during the exam.
3060236 tn?1340594292 The oncologist put me on 30mg of Oxycontin OP a week ago while I get the suboxone out of my system. I need it out of my system in order to be treated for pain. (I had a C- section on subutex and it was HELL!!! ) Needless to say, The doc first out me on 30mg of morphine ER and it did not do much , I still had some withdrawl symptoms. I feel much better on the Oxycontin OP and do not feel "high" at all. To get to my point, is it possible after all these years to come off all this ****?
Avatar f tn So here I am, isolated from all my connects, and out of Roxys. I did that on purpose by the way, I am 3 hours from anything. Over the last 4-5 days I have managed to wean myself from almost 200mg to 45-60mg. I guess my question is, I have one suboxone on hand. I know it can be addicting, however I only have one. I'm not sure if best route be to break that down into 4 quarters and use that over the next couple days, or just go cold turkey.
Avatar n tn The question I have is how does opiate use/suboxone affect the reproductive system? Can it do damage? The reason why I ask is that today I went in for a routine ultrasound and the ultrasound technician asked me a couple odd questions. First if I cramp or bleed excessively and second if I'm on birth control or hormones.. I"m not. I asked if anything was wrong and she said "I dont *think" so"--(she emphasized the word "think") so now I'm worried.
628190 tn?1269018507 I have done that before but you really shouldn't feel too much of a difference. Suboxone has a really long half-life which means that you really shouldn't have too many physically symptoms until day 2 or 3. Maybe just try to get your mind off of it, stay busy until your appt. (is it tomorrow?). If you reduce your dose for a couple days before your appt. you should be okay.
Avatar n tn I guess my question is how long does it take for that methadone to get out of my system completely if I quit cold turkey from the 70 mgs. I was doing the 105mg dose for about a year and a half? Also, when using suboxone after a heroin dose, I'm the type of person that would go into severe withdrwal if the H was still in my system. I had t wait at least the 12hrs. So.....
Avatar f tn I don't think that it will restart your withdrawal time...but I don't think that after 72 hours, all the suboxone is out of your system either. It has a VERY long half life. I didn't learn that fact until I quit subs on Jan 1, 2014. I have been clean of them (and ALL mood altering chemicals since then), so it can be done. You need some time and patience. Let us know how your doing....talking through this part with people that have been there does help!
Avatar m tn Well I have a very close relative of mine who needs to know how long suboxone stays in your system. They havent took sub ever before but did for the first time on April 29 taking 2mg and on April 30 taking another 2mg, then never took it since. They have a drug test on May 28 and they are very nervous that this sub will show up. Does anyone know if the sub will be out of their system by then for a drug screen? Thanks in advance for any answers.
Avatar m tn dont anyone stay on suboxone too long. I was on it for a year and I should of only been on it for a month or two! I have been off it for almost 2 months and I recently took a vicodon for a maigrain I had and it did nothing! That **** stays in your system for a long time. Be sure to carry the card that says your on it, or were onn it cuz if something happends and you have to have surgery or something to where they have to put you under....you might be out but you wont be completly!!!
Avatar f tn I had a friend that took upwards of 60-days, in a treatment center no less, to completely get the Sub out of his system, and it was brutal the whole time. Not trying to scare you... actually, I lie. I AM trying to scare you (into doing your taper correctly, or you're in for a rough time). Keep us posted and feel free to ask questions about your taper (but I think the guy above me gave you a pretty good idea of what you need to do). Later Sister!
Avatar f tn Type as much as you want or need to - that's never an issue. Unfortunately, the dispensing of this medication has quickly become a joke. Not to get to much into - as everyone knows I can do!! - but suboxone in and of itself is not an evil or bad medication... it's the lack of information about it and the misdirection with which patients are led that becomes the problem. My battle has been epic, so when I make that comment I do so with open eyes.
Avatar f tn So, the dose they took 2 days ago is still clearing, the dose from 3 days ago is clearing, etc. So, to get ALL Bupe out of the system could take 7 days or more. Also, just as a FYI...a nominal 8mg dose of Bupe will block 80 percent of the opiod receptors in the brain. That number comes down to 20 percent at 2mg. That very blocking effect is why it is so dangerous to take traditional opiates with Sub.
Avatar n tn Because if you have fentanyl in your system as you take the suboxone, the suboxone will kick out all of the remaining fentanyl in your system causing you to feel uncomfortable. So take the suboxon as your in withdraw. The physician that prescribe it would rather see you walk in the office in withdrawal mode rather than high mode.
Avatar m tn Have been using for 2 to 3 years and i take very small maintenance doses. Please dont tell me how i should stick it out because regardless of 2 milligrams or .2 milligrams, withdrawals are withdrawals for me. The whole enchilada, no sleep, sweats and chills, pupils the size of dime, etc (just no puking or crapping, the only 2 i dont suffer). Quit subs one time because i got locked up for 30 days and went through what i am going through now, but for some reason, it hurts more now.
Avatar n tn It takes about 5-7 days for it to be out of your system (per what they say at 1877 suboxone). If you took a regular pain pill with it in your system, basically nothing would happen. No high, no relief. I carried an emegency medical alert card while I was on it advising any emergency medical personnel that I was on it in case I was in a situation requiring emergency narcotic pain relief. Please discuss any plans with your doctor. It is possible withdrawal from suboxone can be very bad.
11495479 tn?1418744080 I just enjoy myself more. And i cant do suboxone or subutex of course because it stays in my system for 2+ weeks im guessing because my liver enzymes are high. I need to get into the suboxone clinic as soon as I can, it always helped me not crave nothing else nor do nothing else and its all i would do. It possibly could save my life. My questions are, 1- Which one; suboxone or subutex safer for a person with hep c? 2- Has anyone gotten treatment and if so, how was it during the time?
1459956 tn?1311285922 If I can tapper down before my appointment and with the help of this site, I amy can do it with out the saboxan. My brother has been on saboxan for 3 years now and can not get off it. I do not want to substitute one pill for another.
8323481 tn?1405705654 This is the first time I have both alcohol and percocets out of my system. I went to detox, and saw the addictions specialist who prescribed me 6mg of suboxone. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I didn't feel the euphoria or high like I did on percocets. I've been reading threads about this medication, and now I'm scared becuase it looks like I am taking another opiate???? The doctor explained that it also was an antagonist (sp?).
1404715 tn?1281065869 Worried a friend is having strange side effects from suboxone vs her using some other type of drugs. Not sure of her dosing, but her Dr recently increased it to 2 x day because of her cravings. I've seen her pacing, having wild mood swings (depressed then almost wildly manic to the point of hysteria over the least of things). I'm concerned she might be using something else, but don't currently feel comfortable asking her as she has gone off on me over the slightest thing.
Avatar n tn So you were on Suboxone? How long? The withdraws from that can last alot longer than that of tabs.
Avatar f tn crazy half lives or interact with other medications, often changing the half lives of one or the other.. Suboxone is one of the crazier ones. Thanks for sharing.
Avatar m tn Just an fyi subs have a half way life of about 37 hours in our body. So I would suspect that the Subs were out of his system completely in about 3 days.
