Avatar f tn The quote unquote assault weapons bill, or excuse me the quote unquote assault weapons ban, was already law in Massachusetts. It was already permanent in Massachusetts. This bill actually provided some relief to gun owners in the state of Massachusetts. It was portrayed and it has been portrayed in the media as Governor Romney signed a bill to ban quote unquote assault weapons in the state of Massachusetts. But that's not the case.
8551354 tn?1398979524 Are there any teen mommas out here in Massachusetts? I'd love to talk to you guys because I'm about to find out if I'm pregnant or not.
752888 tn?1263248042 I keep hearing the objection to long term Sub usage because of the doctors making more money by keeping you on it. This could be farther from the truth. First of all, Sub doctors have waiting lists for patients. Since there is a limit on the number of Sub patients that each doctor can treat, people usually have to wait to get on his/her service. Secondly, Suboxone doctor's make more money through first consultation/intake than through continuing appointments.
Avatar f tn I've just been diagnosed with GM, after only being symptomatic for 2 weeks (I'm lucky to have great medical care in the Boston area). The root cause of my GM is still unknown, though I am starting with an infectious disease specialist this coming week. Bloodwork shows nothing that suggests an auto-immune cause. Are any of you in Massachusetts? I'd love to get advice and find a doc with GM experience. Thank you!
Avatar m tn The Massachusetts town of Amesbury had to stop using the stuff after they noticed it wasn’t dissolving in the water like fluoride. In fact, the junk was clogging up their machinery. It’s being tested right now, but I have my doubts that we’ll ever learn the truth about what was in those bags from China labeled “fluoride.” But I do know this: I wouldn’t drink it.

163305 tn?1333668571 00 PM Taking aim at a leading cause of liver failure in the United States, a team of scientists at the Massachusetts Biologic Laboratories (MBL) of the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) has developed a human monoclonal antibody that neutralizes the Hepatitis C virus (HCV). The new antibody effectively neutralized the virus in culture, and then prevented infection by the virus in a pre-clinical animal model of the disease.

Despite coming into possession of the plane, another law enforcement official said, "The person was never really a threat." Ferdaus is unmarried with no children, authorities said.
Avatar m tn I have had three major back surgeries for which I was using strong opioids for two years. Started taking 16mg of Suboxone, Worked that down to 2mg and now I cut the tab in half for 1mg per day. Can a pharmacist custom make me even smaller doses so I can completely rid myself of taking this medication? Suboxone is very potent so a small does goes a long way, I need to find a way to take it is still smaller doses so I can stop taking it without getting sick. Any ideas?
Avatar f tn It’s only in my right eye and I have been diagnosed with an epiretinal membrane in that same eye. I recently went to Massachusetts for a week and the strobe effect didn’t happen in my vision the entire time I was there. Now that I’m back in Colorado it’s started again. Are there environmental factors that can make this worse? Things I should look for in my house? Could it be the higher altitude?
