If you took some Methadone after taking Suboxone...that's why you feel so sick. Now that you've taken Suboxone, the Methadone will not work.

I believe the biggest concern right now is not sex drive , but how Suboxone can affect the baby or the pregnancy. Suboxone is a class C medication meaning that it has not been shown to be safe or harmful in pregnancy.

based on what i heard in your post is that .. your switching to suboxone and the doc wants you to start the suboxone having gone a full day into withdrawl..if that is the situation it makes sense reasoning being when you take suboxone ( not subutex) it conrains Nalaxone and Nalaxone will send you into full withdrawl. So this is why u must be already in w/d to take it.. i hope that helps..
I took a 2mg suboxone in the am and 2mg in pm for two days to try and get off those dam roxi's. My last dose of 2mg was yesterday at 5:30pm. hi, i am a suboxone user for 3 years and starting to taper down slowly. i am currently on 1mg morning and 1 mg evening. Yesterday i was prescribed tramadol by a different doctor for my pain and migraine. What i need to know is if it is OK to take tramadol while i am on suboxone? i am afraid that if i take tramadol tonight, the next morning when i dose my suboxone i will feel a very discomfort feeling or withdrawal.
Hi I am at the clinic for suboxone now.
I took 8mg of Suboxone and 2-3 tablets of Ultram for about 6-months. TODAY I decided that I'm going to be off this med in 2-weeks (on St Patricks Day I want to be clean). I have not been 100% in these 6-months, lazy and moody, it's time to be 100% clean of ALL drugs and start being myself again.

Coming off suboxone at 4mg I know it seems like little to nothing but it is. Suboxone is very very very strong. I tried quiting cold turkey off 2mg of suboxone and went through pure he**.my current dr has me on a week to week taper dropping 1mg every week until I no longer need it and he says that is taking babysteps.
After being on meth for WAY too long, and hearing the doses some people are on, then hearing what dose people on suboxone are on, I almost fell over. 200+mg of methadone, but only 12-16mg of suboxone. Like salsinator said, suboxone is very strong with a real long half-life,( somewhere around 36-37hrs), so unless you are coming off a real high dose of your DOC, and I understand that everyones metabolism is different, I would have the dr. lower the dose and see how you feel.
i tried suboxone first but stopped right away because of all the side effects. It also felt stronger then vicodin to me. I am glad i did because once i found this website and starting reading about suboxone, i learned that suboxone has its own nasty withdrawal and it lasts longer then vicodin. My final quit was cold turkey and so far so good. I really think most of this in mental. Once you remove as much fear as possible, and take it a day at a time, it becomes doable.
Are you wanting it for the pain? I'm not sure Suboxone helps with pain. I am currently on Suboxone. My husband found my doctor for me. I think you have to go on a Suboxone website and see who prescribes it in your area. I could be wong though. I know there is somebody on this board that can correctly answer your question, but in the mean time, try googling Suboxone doctors. Hope this helps...
