I actually went from percocets, to oxys to Suboxone in 6 years.... was on 16mgs Suboxone was a bit over an year... The other ones I was able to stop here and there, but once I started the suboxones it was over, I just could not do it anymore by myself... Im so relieved..Though I would never be able to get over this suboxone addiction.
How can I counteract the weight gain that seems to go along with my suboxone. I know the subs are the case because I went off of them for 2 weeks and continued my low carb eating that I have always done (I have been a low carb eater for years) and started losing the weight. Some things in my life happened and I knew I needed to get back on the subs so I went back on them, continued my low carb eating ways and have gained back 6 lbs in a week. Is there something natural I can take to comabt this?
I start suboxone next week. I have been addicted to pills for years.. I have tried to taper, and CT.. I just can't do it.. I always start back using again.. I want to beat this so I decided to go with suboxone treatment and aftercare.. I just wanted to get some feed-back from people that have been on sub, and how they felt when they started..

what should u do if u were taking 4 percocet 10s for 2 months then didnt wait more than 4 hours after eating percocet before the first 2mg of suboxone . i kind of feel like im going through withdraw while on suboxone. should i stop the suboxin and go back on the 10s and just try and ween off the tens. i dont really have a clue ive never tried suboxone before one of my friends gave it to me but neglected to tell me to wait 24hrs and to wait until withdraw already sets in before taking it.
Hi-I had been on dilaudud 2mg. for pain relief for chronic pain issues.I had to go of dilaudud for a few days then began the suboxone as of last Thursday so I am now on 2mg. of the suboxone.Has anyone else here gone on the suboxone for chronic pain relief.This is what my doc is using it for on me-I see most of you are on it for detox....I was wanting of fthe dilaudud as I was afraid of becoming addicted.
Why are people getting addicted on Suboxone when it doesn't even get you high? If I understand correctly, taking opiates while on suboxone has no effect.
I know a young man in his 20's who is addicted to snorting Suboxone and I don't understand why?

Your getting ready to have a baby..on suboxone? Am I understanding you correctly? The dr didn't switch you over to the subutext while pregnant?
BTW....I recently quit the suboxone and it's not a taper plan that you can do in a couple of days, the suboxone taper is a LONG, SLOW process if you don't want to w/d....
I have been taking suboxone for 5 months now and just latley I have been itching like crazy and I get these bumps filled with clear liquid they will swell up if I do not open them in some way and take days to go away! I really do not understand how I would just get this side effect. these bumps are on upper boddy or feet, I have only had three clusters of them, and the rest would be far away! Not sure if thats considered a rash. Even if it is why is that considered a BAD side effect??
I took two ten mg percocets at 9:00am and the 4mg of suboxone roughly 7 hours later. The last 24 hours have been absolutely agonizing. I cannot keep anything on my stomach as I vomit shortly after eating or drinking anything. I'm sweating, cannot sleep and have a headache. I realize, although I am not addicted physically to the Percs, that I am in precipitated withdrawals for 24 plus hours now. My question is how long is this going to last and will taking 4 more mg of suboxone help?
s been a battle for years with me. I was on methadone then went to suboxone and then hydrocodone. Its been between 5 and 6 years. I have all day fatigue!

I went from eating 4 of them a day for about 7 months, to 1 week now with eating 3 for 3 days, 2 for 2 days and im out , I ate my last one at 11:30 today. I did have a try at this last month but for many reasons it didnt happen. It is on for sure right now and i feel like ****. How long till i can take a Suboxone.I have a scrip for 90 ..8-2MG is what the label says,My Dr. told me to wait till the next day but no time frame.
s an opiate blocker. Basically like suboxone with out the opiates. Suboxone is made up of 2 chemicals buprenorphine (opiate) and naloxone (opiate blocker). The reason you get hooked on suboxone and withdraw from it is because it's a narcotic and has opiates. Vivitrol is only naloxone so it's just a opiate blocker. No narcotics, no addiction, and no withdraws. Suppose to be awesome and takes away cravings and help the brain and receptors recover at a faster rate.
Stopped Suboxone 8 days ago cold Turkey. My mind set is still strong but the aching pain all over my body is ridiculous. Does anyone know any tricks to cope with this it's mainly at night when I'm trying to go to sleep?

I finally have my first appt with a suboxone doctor tomorrow and I'm so nervous. The only person I've addmitted my addiction to so far is my husband and that was the hardest thing I've ever done. What should I expect tomorrow? Will they likely be able to start me on suboxone tomorrow? Next time read what not eat before eating. That way this won't happen. Lol but no you'll be fine. When you worry is when that'll hurt yourself and the baby. I'm 32 weeks pregnant & currently taking about 8mg of suboxone daily! I've been so depressed during this pregnancy just knowing I'm on this crap! I have a bicornuate uterus & very high risk so I don't wanna hurt the baby more by stopping!! My high risk OB & regular check up OB have diff opinions, 1 says its fine the other thinks I should stop! Can or should I even try to stop cold turkey?!? I really need someone to help me here!
I had been taking oxycodone 10/325 for about 1 1/2 years, about 15-20 a day, sorting half of them. Before that I was on hydrocodone. Total time on opiates was about 5 years. Interesting that you were on suboxone for only 3 days. I don't think I have ever heard from anyone about a very short suboxone detox. I've been taking 2-4mg of sublingual films a day,(suboxone) for over a year now. I've had liver tests before in treatment and they all came out normal. Recently, I had my annual exam. My doctor said I had "extremely high liver enzymes. I'm wondering if this issue is related to my suboxone use? I assumed I was taking a low dose? Could this issue be deadly?
I am eating nutritiously, but not eating much at all. Eating well when I do eat but no appetite. I think im with jinx on the day 6 tho. My goal is to get off suboxone. When I was taking tramadol I thot I was taking a non narcotic. I apparently took a low dose n stopped as soon as I discovered what it is. I am trying to get off of Suboxone. I've winged off Suboxone twice before, on about 1mg of Suboxone. I took the suboxone for about 2 years. The withdrawal was painful the first time due to having to kick at a restoration christian program and the seconed time I was on Suboxone for another year and i winged off very slowly, tapering 1/3 every 2 weeks which went smooth.
