You could ask your doc if it is ok to take suboxone with the new meds since it is a prescription and not a street drug. If suboxone is not compatible with the new meds then your doc can prescribe you with something else.

When I seen your message I was shocked 24 mg of suboxone is alot of suboxone. the most I took was 8 mg and went down to 2 mg. probably depends on what drugs you were on. That seems to be alot of meds for a day. I thought $200 dollars a month was alot for my suboxone. You should definitely talk to your docter.

I'm new to this site .i am glad to know i have people to talk to with the same problems as I. I 'm on my thirteenth day of suboxone. I used 10 mg loratabs for 3 years taking about 5 a day. This medication has really changed my life and i'm only 2 weeks into it! I have not looked back and do not intend to! i wanna congratulate each one that made that step it was a wonderful feeling wasn't it! may you all suceed in this life changing experience!

But I never went to a doctor for my suboxone so I really dont know a lot about the drug (crazy right). Well I have a very close relative of mine who needs to know how long suboxone stays in your system. They havent took sub ever before but did for the first time on April 29 taking 2mg and on April 30 taking another 2mg, then never took it since. They have a drug test on May 28 and they are very nervous that this sub will show up.

I was on suboxone. It will take away w/d. You will not miss any work. You will probly get a promotion. It is a wonder drug if you ask me. Only thing DO NOT TAKE IT TO LONG (PAST 20 DAY'S) OR YOU WILL HAVE REAL BAD LONG LASTING W/D'S. Don't let that discourage you. It really works if done correct.

It all depends on the type of test they would be testing you with! Most drug screenings test for all of them. But some places only test specifically for suboxone subutex and opiates. I would just call up to the doctor office and ask, u dont necessarily have to give them your name if u ask a generic question such as that!

Hello, I have been in treatment program for almost two months and have been testing possitive for benzos. I take these meds suboxone, certirinzine, effixor er and omprazole. Will any of these cause a false possitive for benzos? I really need help I am on probation at my doctors office and If I lose them I will end up dying with another relaspe.

I take a 12 panel urine test for my pain management doctor and i ONLY TAKE my prescribed meds which are suboxone and colonapine. they have us pee in a self testing cup "right there" and it shows up as having morphine and codeine then they send it to the lab and it still reads positive for them what makes it show up i dont take anything else but that and sometimes ibprophen it happened twicw now and im going to get cut off what is happening??????

I have done a lot of research and read up on state laws and in my state drug testing is not mandatory and according to the US department of health and human services this is an inappropriate situation to drug test a newborn in. I am worried that they will drug test my newborn and get a false positive or social services will treat me unfairly because of my past. I feel I am too late in my pregnancy to get a new physician and am not going to risk a home birth for fear of my babies safety..

my daughter is on suboxone. in her last drug screen she tested postive for opiates she said she was not taking should i beleive her?

Suboxone doesn't show up on typical drug tests. So you should be fine, especially after 14 days. Good luck with the job.

If I take one of the drug tests that you can purchase at a drug store, will suboxone show up on that test as an opiate?

While I do have a script for my Lortabs taking any kind of narcotic is highly frowned upon and could cost me my job. Suboxone wont show up on the typical drug screen and I'm hoping this drug will allow me to continue to function at my job. Wish me luck. I would think if the courts testing your child KNOW they are to be watching for/testing specifically for suboxone use.....they will utilize a test where the detox drinks can be detected or won't work. You can always try calling and ask. I have a loved one that "used to know" how she could beat the system, but they have come a long ways with drug testing these days. Hair follicle and blood tests are SO MUCH more accurate than UA's....due to the variety of UA tests out there.

she set an appointment with a dr. who prescribed me Suboxone. For my insurance to approve the drug, i had to see a drug counselor and join a program. after a couple of months on suboxone i was at an appointment with my consulor and she asked me how i was doing, etc....

She was concerned about them drug testing her and her daughter and was wondering was anyone from Philadelphia that has experience with this.
