Avatar m tn If you want to understand you have to realize that there is NO decent information on stroke rehab except for what you research yourself. Ask any stroke doctor and see if you get anything other than ' I know nothing' or the vacuous comment 'Every stroke is different, every stroke recovery is different'. Ask your instructor how survivors are supposed to get better if all their doctors are doing is waiting for the spontaneous recovery of 6-12 months.

I started feeling ill, but tried to keep a straight face. We picked up dad and then I was left to go through the questions and panic on my own. Felt horrible, cried, called mom and she came home and I freaked out and then I calmed down and finished the questionnaire and felt a little better. Practised drawing. Played melodeon.

Here the person experiences symptoms of bad, frightening dreams which interfere with his sleep schedules. This can be assessed by a sleep questionnaire and therapy is based on the severity of symptoms. So, if your symptoms persist please consult your doctor for an evaluation. Regards.

But if they occur repeatedly or are interfering with your sleep schedules, you can consult a sleep specialist. It could be a nightmare disorder. Doctors have stated that there is very little improvement. As of now she lost her limb movements, swallowing capacity and eyelid movements. Though she is chronic diabetic and had bye pass surgery six years back her major organs are functioning normally. It is not clear how long she will be like this. At what point of time recovery process will set in?
