1194973 tn?1385503904 I feel strange, because everyone and everything says I should have no desire for any sexual activity, but it's quite the opposite. If anything, I'm more attracted to my husband now than I have been in heaven only knows how long. Neither of us suffer from sleep deprevation, and I don't hurt anymore. Just having the bleeding still. The only thing stopping us (me) is because we don't have anything protection wise and he won't get anything.
Avatar n tn I had a stroke when I was 29...2 weeks after I gave birth to my first child. I had a bilateral carotid dissection. I am now 33 and am thinking about having another child, but none of my doctors know for sure why I had a stroke in the first place. Both my ob and neurologist think that I should be fine, but they really have never seen this before. I keep looking for other opinions....and suggestions? Anyone out there that had a baby after a stroke?
Avatar n tn Yeah I`ve had a lot of other women email me about having problems after childbirth. That helped me cope with things and realize I probably didn`t have some terrible sickness!
Avatar f tn My boyfriend of 3 years suffered a stroke late November 07 after surviving cancer, he was 29. The doctors said the damage in my boyfriend's brain is permanent, the stroke was not severe enough to handicap him but it has affected his memory and mental capacity. They are unsure if he'll ever recover his memory fully. He is recovering slowly but still has trouble remembering people including me.
Avatar n tn If you experience any headaches or facial numbness I would go to the emergency room immediately. I know after one of my friends delivered her child she had a stroke. When the headaches began she just ignored them. It has now taken her almost 4yrs and she is still not back to where she was prior to the delivery. So, just be aware and certainly be your own advocate!
3917844 tn?1348593639 Three years ago I suffered a stroke. Due to my stroke I was told that birth control or extra estrogen could promote another stroke so I elected to have my fallopian tubes removed as to not have to worry about birth control. I didn't notice any significant change, just a couple of added lbs but that was it. This however has had a significant impact on me and I'm trying to understand why. Am I being ridiculous or overly emotional?

Avatar f tn We took two years to conceive our first child (with no birth control whatsoever.) When we resumed sex after childbirth, we were using condoms but went a couple of days without them making sure he didn't ejaculate "inside me." And I am now mortified at the mear thought of getting pregnant again. Is my period taking too long? Or am I over reacting? Could his "pre-***" gotten me pregnant? Is it possible that I am now THAT fertile? Please help!
