I had a gated stress test and the report states: myoview stress test: stress and resting spec views of heart were obtained in vertical long axis, horizontal long axis and in short axis projection. There is uniform distribution of isotope throughout the myocardium following stress. Resting scan reveals similar findings. No reversible changes are noted. Ejection fraction measures 69%. All of that sounds ok then primary diagnostic code is minor abnormality! What is abnormal?

my husband just had a nuclear stress test he has to go back to the dr. they prescribed me reading glasses for the computer because I work as a nurse at night and we have those new computer screens that block the vision from side views so its very irritating to the eyes and My headaches have been horrible at work so she told me to wear them at work with my books and computer and I cant tell if they are helping or just making it worse. uggg...

I have been having on and off headaches all day that last seconds when looking at light. When I was born my doctor said I had big pupils and would be sensitive to light, but it's so bad the headaches aren't horrible I did have a headache as soon as I got home I sat at my computer monitor and it was horrible is this stress? Questioning why the doctor wants you to have a nuclear stress test verses a regular stress test. People can have an reaction to the nuclear stress test. The test is not perfect. The only true test, which is a procedure, is the angiogram. My mom had the nuclear stress test and was told that it was not bad and a few months later she was totally plugged in two main arteries and about 99 percent plugged in the other. m not a needle guy and I actually passed out and hit my head on the wall when they were putting the IV in - prior to the stress test. I freaked the nurses out. I insisted on getting the stress test done after that and the cardiologist agreed that it would be a good "worst case" scenario. So I still got up and ran on the treadmill for them. I want to say that I ran for 15 minutes. But they're monitoring you BP/HR etc so don't worry. They're not going to kill you!

Sorry TPP is thyrogolbulin antibodies. That was a typo. TSI was 42 range 0-139 You read so many things, some say anything at all is positive and some say it have to be above range. So the fact that I have some of both the TPO and TSI has me confused. If the theory of reverse T3 dominance is correct it would explain some of my symptoms, especially since I have low B 12 which can cause it as well as stress.

We read and research everything and worry about every little thing that may go wrong. Try to to stress over things too much as this isn't good for you or for your baby. I'm sure everything is fine with your little one. Good luck at your ultrasound tomorrow and keep us posted.

I had a lexascan or a medically induced stress test. It was the weirdest feeling test I have ever had. It felt like a 100 lbs on your chest and caused the breathing to be labored for just a few seconds. Thankfully every thing came back normal.

Echogenic appearance of the liver. Findings suggestionCirrhosis.(not new news!) My spleen is not enlarged. No ascites seen. It did say there is extrahepatic dilatationof the common bile duct prob from my cholsecystectomy (Gall bladder removal), age and upon doing a little research, I found this can alsobe caused by opiates.
