stress test moving

So I am 37 yrs old and had to do stress test on my last appt which I was 37 weeks and failed and was hooked up to machine for almost an hour so sent me to have ultrasound and baby seemed fine but I feel as if she isnt moving as much and I know towards the end they run out of room but im nervous any ideas this is my 3rd child

My doc said ill be getting a stress test at 32w which is 3w so what do u do for a stress test?

if the baby moves 6 times or more then your good if not theyll do an ultrasound and see whats going on,i had it done last week cuz i didnt feel my baby moving then on the moniter she started moving none stop so i kept pressing the button.

What reason would a doctor have to request a stress test on a pregnant woman on her due date, when she has no other pregnancy related (or any other) problems? She was just in for a scheduled appointment, and the doctor requested a stress test.

My due date was yesterday and im scheduled for an ultrasound and a non stress test tomorrow then induction thursday. But whats a non stress test and whats the purpose?

There is a non stress test AND a stress test.... There are different reasons for both. During a non stress test they hook you up to a monitor and just keep an eye on baby's movements and heart rate... During a stress test they hook you up to a monitor but they induce contractions to see how baby reacts.

Has anybody else been sent for a non stress test ? I go tommrow my blood pressure was a Lil high this week and runs in my family so iam getting sent for this test iam a Lil nervous about it.

non stress test is when they lay you on an exam table and strap on fetal monitures to the belly to moniture the baby's activity. i started mine at around 24 weeks. it usually took me 10-20 minutes but my 2 were super active and they got all the information they needed in that time. the tech told me some women were there for as long as 2-3 hours. so it all depends on your little bun and how active s/he is. if you have a good tech it's not so bad.

I am 40 + 2 as of today. I have a non stress test in the morning and was wondering what exactly do they do and how long does it usually take?

s which it has always been and he is very active and constantly moving but during tge test I was having bh and they gave me medicine to stop them.

Can someone please help me understand my recent Stress test findings: Images show mild intensity small-sized defect, located in the distal anterior and apical wall. Rest images show no change of the defect compared to the stress images. This defect suggests infarction vs. artifact in the wall. Gated SPECT imaging demonstates abnormal septal motion of the distal anterior and apical wall. The left ventricular ejection fraction was calculated to be 56%.

The same thing happened to me with a nose bleed, I have never had one in my life before being pregnant, and so far I have had three.

Also, try 2 remove or stay away from whatever is causing u stress. NOTHING is more important right now than making sure yr baby is stress free. Relax!!

You need a stress test to monitor your little one. I experienced this myself. Thankfully my son was fine, but you do not want to ignore this! Go drink some orange juice or any other sugary juice. That should get baby moving. Make sure you count the movement because the doctor will want to know. Please do all this ASAP! It's so important for your baby. I wish you all the best.

Stress test for baby is when they monitor your bp and babys movement and see if your crontracting at all, along with monitoring babys heart rate.

Had anyone had a bad non stress test. I got news today that my baby girl is not moving like she should. Her heart rate us low and the Dr said I need to keep and eye on her movements. Said if they don't pick up I have to call them and see what they want to do. I'm scared for my baby girl now I want her to be happy and healthy.
