Avatar f tn 5 mm, and after the SVT there was slight down-sloping ST segment depression. In an earlier stress test, in 1997, there was also slight down-sloping ST depression during recovery. A gallop rhythm started and was left prevailing. 3. In a 24-h holter recording in 2011 (with 75 mg atenolol, and Multaq) I have also had ventricular ectopic beats (92 single and 10 pairs). During a few years I have been thinking that could I have long QT syndrome.
Avatar n tn My nuclear stress test results were as follows ver batim. I do not know what it means, are the results acceptable, good very good etc. What does this say about the blood flow to the heart muscle ? "injection of Myoview nuclear tracer & resting images obtained excercised on a treadmill for 5 min 34 sec. to 10.
Avatar n tn She gets sweating wlile walking app 200m distence for last 5-6 years. so her stress test was done. baseline ECG is normal. On Bruce protocol she could walk for upto 2 min on treadmill. There were no ECG changes during test, but during recovery phase she developed ST depression with T inversion in II, III, AVF , I, aVL and V2 to V6 for 10 min. She was not having chest pain at that time. She is undergoing Cor angio shortly. What is the probability that she can have Triple vessel disease?
282760 tn?1213327684 im 52 female had a treadmill stress test and got results back it says there was j point depressions slowly upsloping st segments in the inferior wall leads v3 to v6 by the time peak excercise these changes acheive 1mm st segment depressions after the j point in leads v4 v5 and 1-1.5 mm in the inferior wall leads . These changes resolve by 2 min recovery st depression of 1.0 to 1.5 mm in inferior wall leads, delayed recovery ekgs at 4 min show st depressions in inferior leads which achieve 1.
Avatar f tn On my stress test results it states: 1mm horizontal ST depression noted at peak exercise which is positive for Ischemia. Is that very bad or possibly not so bad?
862553 tn?1239060736 Of course i had the ct with my heart at rest before the stress test and then after the stress test... But am wondering what you would think is possibly going on. Avatar m tn Accelerated HR and normal BP response ST Depression in L2,L3, AVF, V4-V6. Stress test is positive for inducible myocardial ischemia. Exercise capacity is good. I did not had any pain during the complete test cycle. The doctor said there is a very very mild change in the stress test and considering my family history (2 of my fathers younger brothers died due to heart attack) suggested for an invasive angiogram to rule out any possibility of a heart problem.
Avatar m tn CONCLUSIONS OF TEST- ABNORMAL STUDY DUE TO MARKED HORIZONTAL ST DEPRESSION IN MULTIPLE LEADS. NORMAL MYOCARDIAL PERFUSION STUDY WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF ISCHEMIA NORMAL GATED SPECT WITH NORMAL WALL MOTION AND THICKENING. WHAT DOES MARKED HORIZONTAL DEPRESSION IN MULTIPLE LEADS MEAN? MY FAMILY DOCTOR SAID JUST THAT TEST WAS NORMAL. AND I GOT COPY OF TEST.
Avatar f tn Thank you very much for the answers. I will be sure to drink lots in between now and stress test.
Avatar n tn You do need to get back with the cardio and get an explanation of a one minute stress test terminated at heart rate of 144. You do not state how you felt at the time of the test termination. You are still not out very far from your heart attack; I'd go back and get some guidance.Let us know. Joan.
974371 tn?1424653129 From what you describe, it sounds as if you had a positive echo treadmill stress test, based on some changes on your EKG, as well as some changes in the motion of your heart as seen by exercise echocardiogram. Generally, the stress test is a screening test for coronary artery disease. The next step is a coronary angiogram, where they will be able to visualize the arteries that supply blood to your heart (coronary arteries), and determine if there are any blockages or narrowing.
Avatar f tn I read somewhere that upsloping ST depressions are the least likely to indicate blockages, and, in some cases, are considered normal. Anyone confirm or deny this?
Avatar f tn I recently had a cardiopulmonary stress test done, and I'm having a hard time interpreting the chart/summary. Is it ever okay to have a drop in blood pressure with an increase in speed/grade?
Avatar m tn Just recently had exercise stress test, was told by my doctor results were fine. { family doctor not cardiologist } read report review of ECG demonstrated no significant ST or T-WAVE changes with exercise into recovery. Infrequent PVCs were noted during study. Patient achieved total work load of 13.4 Mets. Patient experienced no chest pain with exercises or into recovery. Normal St segment and hemodynamic response to symptom- limited exercise.
Avatar n tn My friendly cardiologist had be to get a nuclear stress test and then mailed me the written report, somehow expecting me to figure out what it means. Hopefully a heart doctor.or cardiologist can help. What is right ventricle grossly normal? Is that a concern? What is resting ECG revealed non specific ST-T wave changes? Is that a concern? What is rare PVC's noted during recovery? Is that a concern? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn I just had a stress test, and was told that I failed it due to ST wave depression. I have to go back for a stress echo. My doctor said it was mild and just over what they consider normal. I'm 31 and a healthy eater, and exercise regularly. I have a hard time believing I could have CAD. Does anyone know what this could be? I was told to avoid strenuous exercise until my next test so I'm freaked out.
Avatar m tn they have called it angina. but I have No blockages found. Chemical Stress test is fine. But on the treadmill have thobbing back pain between shoulder blades, caused by activity, exciting. nitro doesn't not have any effect .Blood pressure soars when attacks starts. what could it be. Have saw 3 cardio doctors Had the pain for 20 years. 70 years old. triple bypass done in 1998.
Avatar f tn At my regular check up my dr found st depression. he wants me to have a stress test I am female, 49, not overweight, no diabetes, take toprol 25 for high blood pressure which manages it. Haven't had a cigarette for 15 years do'nt drink ( a glass or two of wine a week). Eat healthy. I panic at doctors and my heart rate during the test was 93 as opposed to my normal 60. I'm very stressed and don't want to go down the rabbit hole of testing if not necessary.
Avatar f tn I am going for 2nd EKG, if that comes out same, i will prepare for stress test and go see a cardiologist in next 2-3 weeks. I have been feeling just fine so I hope there is nothing wrong. Once I get into normal life I will train myself to go through stress test ASAP. I though aspirins are to thin the blood ! Anyway, I will post here my progress...
Avatar f tn The stress ECG showed Sinus Tachycardia; ST/T wave changes in leads aVF, II, III, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6; Downsloping ST depression up to 2 mm.
Avatar n tn I'm 55 and heading into have a cardiac cath in two days and was wondering if anyone can decipher some of this. When I spoke to my dr., I was caught off guard by the phone call and didn't have the report in front of me obviously.....so didn't ask questions I would have had I seen it. First, I've had pitting edema about 2 months ago that got to the point in my right leg that I couldn't wear my shoe and was also diagnosed diabetic.
