I have been having chest pains and shortness of breath and the feeling that I am full. I am on many meds. I had another stress test and I am just not real sure of what the results all mean. Tried talking to my doctor, but he didn't explain it real well. he just said he wants to do another catherization. I was wondering if you can explain my results for the nuclear Spect Imaging Study? Findings: 1. Left ventricle appears at least borderline enlarged.

I was bitten by a tick nearly 6 years ago. I live in central Florida and was out with some friends adventuring in the forests that surround central Florida. When i went to my ob , they took a urine sample and of course i was still dirty and she brought that up to me. Im 33wks and i havent had a problem since because i stayed clean. But im pretty sure they test your urine at every appointment..i also have medicaid.

I went to a place here in Wyoming where I got my official test and first ultrasounds, and they got me the presumptive coverage in a day. Like, that day. And if I had gone to the doctor's the next day without my card, all I'd have to do is show them a piece of paper with my approval notice on it. Pretty sweet.

The Cardiologists at the VA tell me that I am currently too weak to take a Treadmill Stress Test and will in all probability never be strong enough to take one in my future. I apologize again for writing so much! The Aneurysm can kill me in less than 15 Seconds if it explodes or some blood clots break off. I have no idea how many days I have left. I hope someone can help me!

the air in Florida tends to be very still and humid...and the back of my eyes have been burning and achy ever since I moved down here....also the triggers might stem from outdoor allergies to plants/trees...I get sore throats a lot too...what type of eye drops do you think will help? I heard migraines were vascular (blood vessel) but there must be an inflammatory component to it as well. Need an expert opinion...Thank you.

You are young enough hopefully not to be on any other meds, so you can find out once and for all what is causing them. Shands and Cleveland Clinic and Mayo have hospitals now in Florida. Not knowing where you are, I suggest you look them up online and go to the one nearest you. And try to forgive the other docs. Their expenses are above what they can handle now because of insurance companies so they are getting caught up in the results of basically socialized medicine.

I called them today and they said it takes two weeks to get the lab results back. I know if you go through lab corp in Florida you can get a duo test for around $99 and they said the results come back in 2-3 business days.

Im in North Florida. I have one thing in common with a lot (most?) people who live in this state. I'm originally from somewhere else. I moved here in 78. At the time it was mostly florida natives where I lived. Now it seems everyone is from somewhere else. Maybe people who move here are looking for fresh starts? Maybe the stress of changing their lives so significantly? Maybe having decent weather year round and not being snow bound opens up new chances for "recreation".

Also the endocrinologist needs to test first and foremost the pituitary adrenal axis, this is the ability of the pituitary to tell the adrenals when to put out important cortisol during stress, this is tested with an acth stim test-takes about 2 hours and is really important. The other things to monitor include thyroid as the pituitary tells the thyroid to get going. Also growth hormone and later in life puberty(but lets not worry about that yet!

Hi, I'm new to this sight. I was recently diagnosed with ms. I'm not covinced since I have little to none symptoms. The only symptoms I have is aniexty & depression which I always blamed having a baby. It started in the middle of the night with no explanation. I have a really bad memory (brain fog) and difficulty concentrating. Again. Always thought it was "pregnancy brain". Now I'm not so sure!

The hope is now patients can be seen in Florida and dont have to travel. Again in the Summer, myself and board membesr will be finalizing this.

So I live in central Florida and we're expecting a category 4 hurricane in the next couple days. I'm 37 weeks and getting nervous if I go into labor during the storm. I'm about 20 minutes from the hospital... anyone else in the path of the hurricane close to the due date??

Nor MRI was even discussed - in fact the heart catheter is the normal (in my experience) test done if the stress test is not conclusive. This has been the case fo me in past years.

I have had two sets of chest xrays done and they show nothing as well. I went in for a stress test and it appeared to be "abnormal". I went in for an angiogram and the doctor assures me that my heart is in excellent shape except for a very small blockage. I continue to have the tightness in my chest and the feeling of being flush. I have a blood pressure of 100 over 60 and a pulse of 72. I have had no other problems in the past. I am at a loss as to where to go next.

Of course i had the ct with my heart at rest before the stress test and then after the stress test... But am wondering what you would think is possibly going on. My maternal grandfather died because his heart actually exploded and my father himself has had bypass surgery... so there is a hitory in our family all my sibling's take meds for high blood pressure and one sister takes heart medication already ... Could you please let me knwo what your thgouhts are on this ...

I have a stress test today they put me stripes in my belly to monitor the babys heart rate. They did it for 20 minutes and they said everything looks good they said if they see something weird you can be there for up to 2 hours.

I have A Fib and I could not do the stress test with the treadmill so the doctor wants to give me an injection (dobuytamine hcl/250 and sestamibi(2) in order to race my heart to get it up to a certain speed and I am concerned since I have the A. Fib and take medication for it (Diltazam). Is it dangerous for me to have the test??
