New York City. According to a recent story in the
New York Post, there are 161 hives registed with the city's Health Department. That's up from just three in 2010, when beekeeping in the city was legalized.
But it's not all honey and light. The increase in bees has created swarms in The Bronx, Hell's Kitchen and South Street Seaport. According to the Post, bees swarm as part of their annual life cycle.
