Has anyone had this problem? How can this happen to him? Im so sad about this:( my poor baby something can happen to him they said.
Avatar f tn Approximately 12 years ago I was given a stress test with contrast dye. At that time the results came back negative and I was told my heart was in very good condition and the pain I was experiencing was most likely due to my nuropathy caused by kidney disease. Two and half years ago, I was diagnosed with a MI, and whisked away to a huge medical facility. There I was diagnosed with a severe bleeding ulcer(down 50% blood volume), and Congestive Heart Failure.

Avatar n tn m tired most of the day, he has no answer for the fatigue.he did blood test(b-12, mono, not sure what else but said blood test all normal) .My back still hurts(intensity changes) just below right kidney-feels swollen sometimes(I feel like I could just reach in and grab something). Then pain flanking tailbone. I actually told my doc that I did sit-ups and push-up in front of my husband to prove that it's internal, just doesn't feel like muscle pain or strain!
Avatar f tn Cortisol is made by the adrenal glands, which sit on top the kidneys. Cortisol is the stress hormone, and chronic high levels are damaging to the body, especially the heart. There is no obvious answer in these results, so be sure to talk through them with your doctor to see what to do next. Some lifestyle changes would probably be helpful.
Avatar f tn During a stress test your blood pressure and EKG is constantly monitored. If you feel any discomfort at any time, you tell them to stop the machine and you will not have any damage. It is no different to going for a walk. Discomforts quickly stop when you relax. Ace inhibitors will not affect your performance and they are not going to cause harm. The stress test will give an accurate reading of your general fitness which includes the fitness of your heart.
Avatar f tn The problem is, he also suffers from anxiety, probably from canine cognitive disfunction. It looks like Xanax is not a good option for kidneys. We have tried zylkene, denosyl and thunder shirt, but nothing helps. Are there any other mess that might help, but don't tax the kidneys?
Avatar f tn I am scheduled for a nuclear stress test in a couple of weeks as a general evaluation for getting on the kidney transplant list. Will the dye that is injected have any negative affect on my kidneys? I would like to keep whatever is left of my kidney function (about 20%) for as long as possible.
Avatar f tn Best bet is to talk to your nurse ans they will probably have you go in for a pee test. Better safe than sorry.
5373382 tn?1369738172 With your 50 eGFR, they will monitor that for three months, yes? It it remains low, that is indicative of kidneys not working properly. I understand your concern. What does your doctor say about this. I would stay hydrated during this time. When caught early, these things can be improved! Stay on top of this. Blood pressure okay? Diabetes checked? These are big ones to make sure are under control for the kidneys. Let me know any update.
Avatar f tn My ekg was abnormal ( was not told in what way, they did not seem too worried about it at the hospital), and my echocardiogram was also normal, including an ejection fraction of 65-75%. However, this week when I went in for my execise stress test I had to stop early because I was so fatigued ( I only made it about 5 minutes - was not surprised) and my bp dropped (a great deal down to 80/ can't remember diastolic from around 140/90, I believe).
Avatar f tn Go to the doctor to be safe. It could be nothing, or it could be an infection. Maybe you have a UTI?? try drinking LOTS and I mean lots of water. Also try cranberry juice(not cranberry juice cocktail) real cranberry juice with no sugar. And see how you feel. It's very common to get a UTI during pregnancy. Then next time you see your OB, ask them to test your urine for a UTI. If you have one, you'll get antibiotics and all will be fine.
Avatar f tn It is worth checking if the vet did a test for anaemia (low RBC test result would suggest it). The loss of red blood cells can cause anaemia and it will certainly need treating as a priority if it is evident. What is the blood pressure medication prescribed? Is this for actual high blood pressure - or simply to help push more blood through the circulatory system/increase blood volume? Please ask about this if you are uncertain, as the type of blood pressure medication is different for each.
Avatar f tn I had my first doctor appt today since my mc in august AND since finding out I'm pregnant again...I have been having unbearable back pain and so I mentioned it to my doctor and he said it doesn't sound muscular because heat, massage and stretching isn't helping, he said it could be something wrong with my kidneys, he got a urine test & blood work ordered which I will find out next week the results...has anyone experienced anything like this?
1305271 tn?1320984748 About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had a physical done by my primary doctor and everything turned out fine. Yesterday I went for screening/physical/drug test for a job and the said they found high levels of protein in my urine. Besides any of the common diagnoses, could this be a sign of pregnancy too?? About a month or 2 I thought I could be pregnant but the preg. test were both negative. Could there still be a chance I am and there is a problem??
7831604 tn?1399711007 I went to hospital and they thought it was my kidneys, they did a urine test and blood tests looking for infections because the pain came on so suddenly it woke me from my sleep and I was in tears! It turns out it was just a muscle, thank goodness!
