Avatar m tn Hello All I have been having memory problems. Not sure what to think of them. My anxiety and depression are getting the best of me. Every time I start to get my life back something else throws me in a downward spiral. I spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about my future instead of living it. To keep it short. I found out that I have a problem with my cervical spine which is causing headaches and neck pain.
1830047 tn?1321667793 Hi all! I have been absent for awhile bc I don't seem to find a lot of answers and I haven't needed much moral support. However, here I am again with pretty much the same question... does anyone else have memory issues/gaps? Most recently I am having numerous tiny gaps where I can't remember anything seen or heard (etc) for no more than a few seconds. I have had gaps here and there for at least three years now but most were missed without someone else pointing them out.
Avatar n tn I had a gated stress test and the report states: myoview stress test: stress and resting spec views of heart were obtained in vertical long axis, horizontal long axis and in short axis projection. There is uniform distribution of isotope throughout the myocardium following stress. Resting scan reveals similar findings. No reversible changes are noted. Ejection fraction measures 69%. All of that sounds ok then primary diagnostic code is minor abnormality! What is abnormal?
Avatar n tn Yesterday I had a nuclear stress test and within a couple hours I felt a hot itchy spot about 6 inches long and 3 inches wide from my shoulder down. The place where the Adenesine was injected did not get red. About 4 hours later I called my drs service and one of them returned my call and we discussed whether I needed to go to the ER. I chose to take a couple benedryl instead. Today the red long blotch is still there. I went to my cardio dr.
Avatar m tn Hi, I'm 22 years old and I suffer from bad short term memory, When i was younger 15-18 i smoked alot of Marijuana to combat with depression and i fear that it has done permanent damage to my memory. Since then I haven't smoked Marijuana in years because of the realization that it wasn't helping me at all, that instead of combating my depression it was just clouding it and covering it until i didn't feel it anymore.
Avatar f tn There can be a false positive but modern nuclear stress tests include computer programs that correct for some of this blurring and muffling.
Avatar m tn Hi ! I keep mixing the word bus with computer without realising. I would say things like I'm going to be late for the computer or I cant open that file on my bus. Avatar m tn Initially the afterimages were only visible when using a computer; reading a page of text would result in horizontal bars across my vision interfering with reading and appearing on whatever else I looked at. This has become progressively worse. Light coloured objects result in a dark afterimage, so when the problem is at its worst my whole field of vision is quite dim. I now see negative afterimages most of the time.
1146276 tn?1261470187 (1) Take a reality check, notice how QUIET it is in the test room as the quiz is handed out. Students are freaked out with what is about to happen, so you ain't the only one under stress. (2) Pay attention to the test itself. It's going to be talking about things you're interested in, so the questions will jog your memory about all the fun stuff you learned about, so take some moments to recall the interesting info the question brings up in your mind.

Avatar n tn We live in Virginia, and my daughter's therapist recommended Cogmed Working Memory Training to help her with attention. Her therapist said this represents a problem with working memory, and that she might do well with the Cogmed Working Memory Training.
Avatar m tn The things that set mine off are- the computer screen, stress, brightlight, being too tired, reading, staring at something too long. I feel normal an hour or two before. The feeling I get is right before- sometimes its in my eyes and sometimes i get this feeling of something moving up the back right side of my head. Or I get a weird sensation in my head. When I get the headaches, they always come on about 4 a.m.
Avatar f tn I have been having on and off headaches all day that last seconds when looking at light.
