I had a gated stress test and the report states: myoview stress test: stress and resting spec views of heart were obtained in vertical long axis, horizontal long axis and in short axis projection. There is uniform distribution of isotope throughout the myocardium following stress. Resting scan reveals similar findings. No reversible changes are noted. Ejection fraction measures 69%. All of that sounds ok then primary diagnostic code is minor abnormality! What is abnormal?

Yesterday I had a nuclear stress test and within a couple hours I felt a hot itchy spot about 6 inches long and 3 inches wide from my shoulder down. The place where the Adenesine was injected did not get red. About 4 hours later I called my drs service and one of them returned my call and we discussed whether I needed to go to the ER. I chose to take a couple benedryl instead. Today the red long blotch is still there. I went to my cardio dr.

There can be a false positive but modern nuclear stress tests include computer programs that correct for some of this blurring and muffling.

my husband just had a nuclear stress test he has to go back to the dr. Wednesday , they said he had some blockage and they saw a place on his heart they want to check out he has had triple bypass and had a heart attack last year . they want to do some kind of dye test now what could this mean ? and what might the dr. do im trying to understand all of this .

I have been having on and off headaches all day that last seconds when looking at light. When I was born my doctor said I had big pupils and would be sensitive to light, but it's so bad the headaches aren't horrible I did have a headache as soon as I got home I sat at my computer monitor and it was horrible is this stress? my vision just went green tinted for about 35 seconds it scared the **** out of me and elevated my heart rate but i think i'm getting over it. might be related to a setting called digital vibrance on my GPU for gaming. i had changed it because of a recommendation but i've just changed it back.

we all may have other issues in addition to the added stress or emotional over loads....but it is all a result of Chiari affecting our control center....

Questioning why the doctor wants you to have a nuclear stress test verses a regular stress test. People can have an reaction to the nuclear stress test. The test is not perfect. The only true test, which is a procedure, is the angiogram. My mom had the nuclear stress test and was told that it was not bad and a few months later she was totally plugged in two main arteries and about 99 percent plugged in the other. Have you had an echocardiogram yet?

In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.

Has anyone taken a stress test ? My doctor got me so worried. I told him today at my appt that my baby doesn't move as much as he use to everyone else told me it's bcuz he's losing space. So I wasn't too concerned and now my doc wants to make sure everything is okay so tomorrow I'm going in for a stress test . Has anyone done this? So I am 37 yrs old and had to do stress test on my last appt which I was 37 weeks and failed and was hooked up to machine for almost an hour so sent me to have ultrasound and baby seemed fine but I feel as if she isnt moving as much and I know towards the end they run out of room but im nervous any ideas this is my 3rd child
