Avatar m tn About 7 months ago I had my first experience. Disoriented feeling, slight to moderate headache, sort of a chill in the "outer head." Odd sensations in neck, under jaw, ear. Happened a couple of times but went away shortly or by next day. Then I get an e-mail from someone who has been making me very tense. My head explodes. Doesn't go away. Diarrhea, sweats, dizziness, severe weakness. Comes and goes in "waves." No real predictability. Dr.

Avatar f tn 33 year old female, history of chest pain dates back almost 6 years. Also have pain in left jaw, neck, shoulder, arm, back and armpit areas. Have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis in the past year, confirmed by biopsy. Have moderately high blood pressure, which is controlled with medication. In the last year, I have had a treadmill stress test and a resting echocardiogram. Both indicated no problems. Over the past 6 years, I have had 3 EKG's also (the last one being about 2 years ago).
Avatar f tn I think in view of the recent normal stress test and Holter monitor, and how atypical the symptoms are for coronary artery disease, that this is more likely suggestive of a digestive disorder. It may be related to an esophageal hernia or to severe GERD. Aspirin can certainly aggravate these symptoms. I suggest that you speak to your GP and that he perhaps orders either a Barium swallow or a CT scan of the chest.
Avatar f tn I have many of the symptoms of TMJ... there is definitely SOMETIHNG going on with my Jaw, but some things dont fit. When my jaw huts the worse I hear the most popping noises when I open my mouth, but it doesnt really seem to hurt and more when I DO open my mouth. Also some days it will feel just fine, and others it will hurt more often. Most of the time it will feel just fine in the morning and by 2 pm it will start hurting worse. I dont believe I grind my teeth during the day.
906759 tn?1275957620 I do have a tender spot about 4 inches above xypohoid process right in the middle that hurts to the touch. I have occasional jaw pain on whole bottom jaw and frequent arm pain, and tingling on both arms and sometimes the ring and pinky fingers, they dont hurt at the same time ever. The really weird thing is that the pains are almost always happening when i am sitting down!!!! Usually if i am busy there is no pain or any other symptoms.
Avatar n tn Also try to just let your mouth hang open for a bit. Takes the stress off. Thank god my jaw will crack after a certain point and that relieves the stress for some time. If you can qualify for a bite guard through your dental plan, get one. It will pretty much relieve all those problems.
Avatar n tn From my understanding having looked through this forum, ARS symptoms will not linger. After initial infection (ARS), symptoms related to HIV will not suddenly pop up out of no-where. In other words, many HIV-positive people remain symptom-free for several years after the virus' onset. You can trust a conclusive test result at 3 months.
Avatar f tn My jaw cracks more then usual when chewing but I think its the weather changing not due to being pregnant.
Avatar f tn The jaw pain was a completely new symptom for me but from what I hear, you can have symptoms like jaw pain one day and the next its gone. But yes, I definitely have read of many people who have jaw pain w/ Lyme.

Doctors said that stress was causing my symptoms. Recently I've had jaw pain, neck pain, eye pain, cheek pain, ear pain, leg pain, arm pain, chest pains, stomach pains and pains on my bump. I've also felt off balance and have diarreah and rarely had constipation and trouble passing gas. This has been going on for about 4 or 5 weeks.
Avatar m tn At my physical, the doctor listened to my heartbeat, and said it was fine. I am extremely worried about this. Could it be acid reflux? Or anxiety or stress?? I weigh 230 pounds. I even get pins and needles in my left hand, and jaw and neck pain on the upper left side near my jaw. Maybe its all muscular?? It would be nice if this is not my heart, as i worry ALOT.
Avatar n tn 7 days ago I felt a small amount of pain in my right jaw. There had been no physical injury, and I was not under any stress. I had been fighting a cold, and had some coughing / sneezing fits in the previous week. 5 days ago I awoke with difficulty closing my jaw. For that and the next day at mealtime after my jaw "warmed up" I was able to chew more-or-less normally. Now, for the last 3 days I am not able to close my jaw on the right side, and I am not able to chew normally.

1718420 tn?1310308575 It's quite likely the TMJ brought on by stress and tense jaw muscles. The pulsing may be related to higher blood pressure as well. As always, it would be good to visit your Doctor to discuss and review the symptoms. Make sure you also mention to your Doctor about family history of brain aneruysms. Good luck and stress less if possible!
