Avatar m tn t have an impact), or could stress be the actual cause of numbness (would be a bit weird since its just on my pinky and nowhere else on my body)? Avatar n tn YES. I have a noisy neighbor with a rotten attitude and FM, too. Stress and noise aggravate FM, because we can't get the rest we need. This aggravates my migraine issues, too. People like this should be evicted, but the management would rather blame the victim for being too picky. I have neighbors agreeing with me about the lousy neighbor but management not lifting a finger to put a stop to this nonsense. I feel for you.
Avatar n tn I would say put the taper on hold until you can get in and see your OB. For women with severe pain, very often it's better for them to take a smaller, managed dose of pain medicine than it is for them to quit. Pain causes stress on the body, and stress releases a hormone called cortisol into the system, and it goes directly into the baby..it can cause a host of problems (nothing deadly, but nothing fun!

Update: I have agreed (reluctantly) to have a mastectomy and also, the mhs are still (in my opinion) providing limited support. I fail to understand the mhs. I don't understand why they're not working with me to help improve my situation (or at the least, to help contain me).

Avatar f tn And I was bitter and angry. And then suddenly I relaxed and decided to sleep it off. As I was coming to bed I was gonna plug in my iPhone and bam. Avatar f tn I was currently on heavy doses of fentanyl and methadone and not to mention many other meds for other symptoms. i was very upset. I went and had an ultrasound, talked to my surgeon, gastroenterologist, and two different ob/Gyns. For me, I couldn't carry without getting off the meds, but I couldn't get off the meds without causing so much stress to cause a miscarriage. I hate to tell you this, but I eventually had to have a D&C and it was the hardest thing I have ever done.
