Avatar m tn Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. 8761100 tn?1399725825 Wow that's alot to deal with. Maybe take a warm bath, yoga poses, deep breathing exercises? Maybe reach out to a friend or family member in your time of need, that's what they are there for. Also you could talk to a doctor about your stress and anxiety. Just getting it all out helps so much. And I'm sure they have ideas for stress relief. Good luck.

Avatar f tn I assessed the stressful elements of my life (at home and at work), began meditating, and lowered my overall stress. I did yoga and stretched did neck exercises which both reduced some of the pain. Nothing helped, and they recommended Topamax, but as nothing made a dent before, I decided to question their diagnosis of intractable migraine. Since then, I had my Nexplanon implant removed (received it July 11th, 2015, removed it November 22, 2015). And started acupuncture.

Avatar f tn Many times while working at a desk posture becomes an issue. Individuals will tend to lean ever so slightly causing mechanical alignment abnormalities which contribute to muscle tightness causing the imbalance you mentioned. If your "QL" muscle is truly tight on the left then strengthening the opposite side is important as well as stretching of the left "QL".
