1217415 tn?1266536495 When I get stressed out shortly after i get a warm feeling on my face and a little white bump with a red outline pops up. When I calm down it goes away. I thought maybe hives, but its not a rash...just a bump. Never gotten a pic of it...I can't Make them pop up when I think of it...haha...
5097121 tn?1466787392 When our bodies are feeling good, we usually feel good emotionally, so in turn, taking care of your body is very beneficial for stress management, for instance, getting a sufficient quantity AND quality of sleep, eating properly (including a healthy/balanced diet), staying active. Staying away from things like smoking, drinking, overindulging with food are a given. Minimizing intake of things like caffeine is a good idea. ---->Additionally, we have to set REALISTIC daily goals.

645390 tn?1338555377 Well, I sent an email about a 8 hour workshop about relationships and MS coming up, sponsored by the MS society. He was "happily" willing to go. I signed us up, and feel pretty good about it. There was actually a fee for the course, so I don't think he would back out now :) (by the way, I send email, text, due to our busy busy schedules, and we generally only get a few minutes to talk on most days. As ridiculous as it sounds, this is how we communicate too often.

147426 tn?1317265632 Some time ago I created an outline to place the pages in. My goal was to get all of them in the outline so someone could easily look up an article for a specific topic. I have been very lazy in getting all of them linked. But, I am back to working on it. They will be up-to-date soon. The next step will be for MedHelp to give us some way to land FIRST on the Index page so we can find stuff. That hasn't happened yet.

Avatar m tn My dog was diagnosed with leptospirosis .. Over the next few days i knew this was not so, so went to another vet who after checking her over agreed with me and said this is either a lung infection or a tumour in the lung. different medication was given and if she was no different we would do x-rays. That night i gave her the first of the medication where 3 hours later she had a horrible breathing attack.

572651 tn?1530999357 The authors speculate about why the benefits of the stress management treatment did not last beyond the 24-week treatment period. One possibility they point out is that participants may require longer treatment to learn to maintain the stress-reducing behaviors on their own.
Avatar m tn It is possible to continue to have a stress fracture over months when it is not given due attention and appropriate care. Conservative management of stress fracture should aim at movement restriction and non-weightbearing for atleast 6-8 weeks, while stressful activities should be resumed gradually after 12-16 weeks. The duration of rest would also depend on the severity of the fracture and the healing response. For severe or non-healing fractures, surgery may need to be considered.
