5097121 tn?1466787392 When our bodies are feeling good, we usually feel good emotionally, so in turn, taking care of your body is very beneficial for stress management, for instance, getting a sufficient quantity AND quality of sleep, eating properly (including a healthy/balanced diet), staying active. Staying away from things like smoking, drinking, overindulging with food are a given. Minimizing intake of things like caffeine is a good idea. ---->Additionally, we have to set REALISTIC daily goals.

Avatar n tn I'm with you - it seems like you're being rushed onto a med you may not need. Get back with your doctor and have him go into a list of reasons why he thinks the med is appropriate. Then make him refute your reasons for NOT going on it. I'm thinking closer tracking and maybe stress management might be a safer course of action. good luck!
Avatar f tn hi i'm new to the group and happy to find some info on IC. I have had out infections my whole life or so i thought! 2 yrs. ago i had another doctor for a few months while mine was on maternity leave after going in every 2 to 4 weeks with a uti she said "this is not normal and im going to start testing yr. urine."...all the further tests came back negative for bacteria but there is always blood and protein in my urine. Avatar f tn hi! I'm 9weeks3days and just wondering what everyone does to avoid stress?
Avatar m tn s blood pressure, but I told him there was no point since his blood pressure was going to be sky high from stress anyway and would not really prove anything. I'm wondering if any of these symptoms, which were presented as "unrelated" to me, could be related, if his stress/fear over the whole situation could account for any of these problems and if there's anything else I should watch out for when I get news about his blood tests/take him in for a follow up. Thank you so much!

Avatar f tn Do everything Jerry said. He did give you great advice and I think if you do these things everything is going to be alright. Yes, they do put all prescriptions on one or two pages now. It's not like it used to be where you would get one for every single script. Your regular pharmacist was not the one who filled them. And why in the world do these DRs think any of us would ever sell our medications?!!!
Avatar f tn Bit of a long story I'm Afraid. Since having my little girl 2years ago I have become allergic to many things .... Ibroprofen, cocodamol, penicillin, tramadol, certirizine, fexofenodine, rinitadine, buscopan and an array of other things that I struggle to remember.I also had to have my gallbladder removed last year and had an allergic reaction to the anaesthetic.
572651 tn?1530999357 The authors speculate about why the benefits of the stress management treatment did not last beyond the 24-week treatment period. One possibility they point out is that participants may require longer treatment to learn to maintain the stress-reducing behaviors on their own.
Avatar n tn Not sure what is stressing you out as far as the details. But try to focus on one stress at atime...if you are worried about money - look for local resources to help you with things for baby. Your local WIC office should have a good size list of resources. For family or relationship stress find someone you can trust to talk to for some support. Sometimes just talking will help relieve some stress. know that you cannot control your situation but you can control your choices now and your outlook.
Avatar m tn I would suggest to you to please relax and try to make a list of all things that are causing stress in your life. This way you will know how to you can deal with each one of them. Also do some breathing exercises, go for short walks, eat regularly and take a mild tranquiliser at bedtime. Hope this helps!
Avatar m tn Stress and anxiety can cause so many symptoms, it would be nearly impossible to list them all, but the ones you've mentioned are very common. To answer your question, yes, stress CAN make you feel unwell every day. And if left untreated, it can cause some very serious mental and health issues, I suggest you see your doctor for a complete physical and discuss therapy to help you learn to deal with stress............
Avatar m tn It is possible to continue to have a stress fracture over months when it is not given due attention and appropriate care. Conservative management of stress fracture should aim at movement restriction and non-weightbearing for atleast 6-8 weeks, while stressful activities should be resumed gradually after 12-16 weeks. The duration of rest would also depend on the severity of the fracture and the healing response. For severe or non-healing fractures, surgery may need to be considered.
Avatar m tn It may seem like you have to jump through hoops, but pain management isn't just about pain pills and refills on them. Good pain management doctors/clinics also look for other things to help. It may be that at the end of it all you only use the pills, but I doubt you'll find a doctor willing to just write scripts and nothing else. There's a huge problem in this country with narcotics and Florida was at the top of the list.
