Avatar n tn I also had a stress test this week. and like you, I had a Thallium test as there is a national shortage of myoview. Any strong headache should be reported to your doctor, and at the same time, several aspirin tablets should be ingested. That being said, I'm betting you were told not to have any beta blockers, in my case no slow-release nitro pills, and certainly no caffeine. Withdrawing from these products all could result in a headache.
Avatar f tn m going to change him tomorrow but it takes about a month to take effect. A couple of weeks before that I had a persistent headache and nausea that lasted for about 7 days. About a month ago I was abroad in Japan.
Avatar m tn I want to add that the dizziness, nausea and headache occurred almost everyday ever since it begun. It is affecting my quality of life severely. Things would improved after waking up from a sleep but would the attacks would begin hours later. The ENT specialist, while not definitely, has sort of ruled out brain tumor. I'm going for an MRI tomorrow but I wish to know the plausible cause. Could my eyesight has worsen? I'm wearing spectacles.
162784 tn?1227296050 Hell all, I had a VERY stressful day yesterday, something personal with the family and I'm still stressed. Well, I'm on CD10 and not due for AF until about 3 more days at least. Well yesterday, right after I was stressed out on CD9 I had kinda medium-heavy brown spotting for about an hour or so. I thought AF was here early and that my Ovulation day was wrong. But the spotting stopped and I even went up there with tissue and it's dry???
Avatar n tn Hello Dear, Whenever the brain is affected by an illness or injury, there is always the possibility of it causing nausea. Vertigo, anxiety, stress, and fatigue all cause nausea by affecting the brain. Also some foods cause nausea - it's called food intolerance. Common causes of nausea are intolerances to Gluten, Dairy, Fructose and Yeast. The best and quickest way to identify food intolerance and pinpoint the cause of nausea is to do the Detection Diet.
Avatar n tn t always help, severe headache for more than 4 hours, and nausea without vomiting. Go see your normal doctor and they will probably prescribe some stronger pain medicine and may recommend you see a neurologist. For me, the stronger pain meds didn't really work. They decreased the severity of the headache but the pain was still there even though I was kinda stoned. Without medicine, what helps me is laying down in total darkness and complete quiet with a cold, damp wash cloth on my face.
Avatar f tn Migraines are related to seizures, except there’s no real loss of bodily function or control, usually just pain, weakness and sometimes nausea. This is closely related to stress, and no matter the trigger(s), the intensity of the pain can snowball that stress into a stronger response. Identify the main triggers, and avoid them, and develop a stress coping method that will be perfect therapy not only in general, but to prevent and minimize future headaches.

Avatar f tn My aunt was admitted months at a time, quite a few times, for viral meningitis. And ultimatly they found out it was stress causing hers. With her stress, It was where she lived, and who was stessing her out. Once she moved, she hasn't had a reoccurance. My sister in law who was admitted last year for the same thing, also was told hers was caused by stress. Did they mention if there was a cause for yours?
Avatar f tn I have been reading up on it and I am being influenced by an article by Charlotte Kuchinsky describing the severe side effects of burning throughout the body, sweats, severe headache which lingers for hours, and nausea (and possible vomiting). "Treadmill stress test in no way compares to the agony of its chemical sister. That particular test borders on medieval torture" Is this what I have to look forward to?
Avatar f tn (Although the headache and nausea could have been stress related from being afraid I was pregnant). So it may be possible you're suffering from side effects combined with stress. Because the morning after pills isn't full proof, it is also possible you're pregnant and it was just too early to tell. So I would retest if your period doesn't come. However 7 days is a long time to be suffering.
Avatar m tn Hi All. Since January, I have had a mild headache that comes and goes, though not a day has gone by when I didn't experience it.It's mostly a squeezing, vice-like feeling in my temples and over my eyes. My doctor chalked it up to stress and suggested I try meditation, cannabis, acupuncture, etc. -- none of which has helped, though it hasn't gotten worse. Last month, I was diagnosed with ocular hypertension, for which I was referred to an ophthalmologist for a glaucoma workup.
Avatar f tn I recently had a nuclear stress during which I got very sick. I had a sick headache, nausea and dizziness which just got worse during the day. My blood pressure 2 hrs after the stress test was something over 96...the test showed no problems with my heart, but my pressure jumped to about 200 over 100 during the test. I did not feel better until they told me I was dehydrated, even though I had been drinking water and juice all day, and I drank many electrolyte drinks. What was this?
