Cultures for strep and mono came back negative but I was given keflex antibiotics and all went away in four-five days. Two months later I started feeling a slight tingling/ irritation at the tip of my penis. I am circumcised. That sensation got worse over the next couple months along with red / wrinkly glans appearance especially after masterbation or shower. Almost looks like a bunch of tiny red pin size bumps.

Can you call him and ask for another antibiotic? I don't know other antibiotics that wouldn't hurt your stomach.

Hello, I went swimming a early june and few days after that my ears started to hurt real bad and it gave me terrible headaches coming and going. He tested me for strep and found that it was not that, and my lymph nodes are not swollen for it to be mono. He said it was a viral infection that should last about three to four days. Also of people get fever and feel really sick with a strep inection but sometimes all you have is a chronic sore throat. If you let a strep infection go for a long time without treatment it can make you seriously ill and could even kill you.That is rare but it does happen. Go to the doc. Well about a week after my girlfriend and I got back together I got a real back sore throats with white stuff on my throat. Went to the doctor and he tested me for strept and mono and tests came back negative. Well he put me on keflex (250mg twice a day for 10 days) totaling 5000mg course. My concern is that I got syphilis has well as hsv2 that same encounter but the keflex cured my syphilis but I gave it to my girlfriend before I was cured. Will that low of a dose keflex cure syphilis?

What you are describing sounds more like strep throat. Do you have a fever? Strep throat can be quite painful when swallowing and cause a general feeling of malaise, with whitish "dots" appearing in the back of your throat. I've had strep throat like symptoms, but it's not strep throat. I've had 4 different doctors do 4 different swabs, one of which when to the CDC, they all came back clean. How reliable is my negative test result on HIV test? I am still not feeling well at times.
