I went to my doc but he didnt even look at my mouth :( he didn't take me seriously at all just spoke about the baby and that's it. I had strep once and it burned my throat so i kind of thought it was my tonsils but not i hear of advanced strep ugh I'm def going for a second opinion tm.... and can u still have advanced strep w out fever?

For a couple years now I have noticed a trend with my colds and/flus. It all began when I developed strep throat for the first time. Immediately after the worst of the strep throat was treated with antibiotics, my hands and the bottom of my feet "broke out". They became red, hot, extremely itchy. Eventually they died out and peeled in long strips.
My hands and feet always do this now after every cold/flu.
Last year I got hives towards the end of a strep infection. This year again I was sick and now i am feeling better but getting hives again. The strep test from the doc was negative.
I am wondering, does this happen to anyone else? I am pretty sure it is not related to food or medicine. It seems to happen as my body is fighting the virus. An allergic reaction to...the virus? If so, why towards the end?
So I had a sore throat achy chills etc.. and went to the dr. They didnt do a strep test but diagnosed me with strep and gave me amoxicillin. The next day I started breaking out in hives called the dr. and they said it sounds like i was alergic and to stop taking it.they sent domething else over and they continued getting worse. I went back to the dr and the did a blood test and it came back positive for mono....
feeling run down, as well as having a Loss of Appetite Sounds like Strep Throat or Mono, but did you have a Sore Throat or Fever at any point?? Taking Antibiotics, like Penicillin/Amoxicillin would've Helped if it was Strep, & IF it was Strep w/in 24hrs of starting Antibiotics you're no longer Confessors. The symptoms described could be due to a throat infection, most probably streptococcal or a viral infection. Strep sore throat needs to be treated with an antibiotic as strep is a bacteria. Viral sore throat is best treated with rest, warm oral fluids and (OTC) tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain. For the cough (dry) antitussives with Dextromethorphan based syrups like Triaminic may help.

May 14th all of the cultures and blood that the hospital and my gynecologist took came back negative for any STDs or HSV1 or HSV 2.
May 15th I saw my dermatologist who guessed that it might be Behcet's. She prescribed me prednisone and a topical cream for the ulcers.
It is now Saturday, my daughter was diagnosed with strep throat Wednesday night and started amoxicillin in the urgent care, Friday afternoon she broke out in a itchy rash...mostly on her torso but some on her legs, neck, and arms. She has been on amoxicillin several times before from ear infections when she was little. The only difference with that is it is no longer pink (the amoxicillin).

I got strep throat with a fever but it was quickly heeled with antibiotics in 3 days ,but while on antibiotics I had a little diarrhea but that's went away tho I was also drinking a lot. I also have been breaking out in hives a lot lately. My eyes are sensitive to light sometimes but that maybe because I mm blind in one eye. I'm freaking out I'm so scared I don't even want to get tested.
I woke up with a sore throat neck swollen and tender, headache, and just achy.. Then next Day same thing but had a rash all over my body. Light pink dots everywhere. Not itchy at all, but face was flushed. Next day same thing but spots darker red on belly, back and neck, and looks a lot like a sunburn on face arms..feels like it too (radiating heat, sensitive to touch). Havent been in the sun. Ive been taking lamotrigine for about 2 weeks and I know its associated with some serious rashes.
i kept him home from school (he will be 4 in december) and on Tuesday i noticed 3 Hives on his face. He is allergic to penicillin but none was given. I brought him o the dr and she said it could be from the virus. He went to school that day for the 2.5 hrs hes in prek. Wednesday he woke up coughing like crazy. Again i brought him and she said it was the start of CROUP. His lungs were clear and she said to give him 15mg of Prednosolone 2 tiems a day. ...it seems to get the coughing to ease up.
She was exposed to strep throat this week. Diagnosis was UTI and ear infection, she was started on keflex. she has had 1 dose this afternoon. She now has a red rash that has a "sunburn like appearance" and is rough to touch, so i am thinking scarlett fever, however the rash is primarily under her panties in the front and her armpits. there is some on her back but it's not nearly as noticable as the other 2 locations.
Okay - I've seen this question asked a million places and a million different ways but none of the answers were the same and none of the questions were very much like my situation so I figured I'd give it a try (sorry if you've seen this a ton of times before!).
My boyfriend is in the military and the last two times I've gone to visit him on base I have performed unprotected oral sex and gotten strep throat.
My brother tested positive for strep throat today and I've been around him..they're supposed yo induce on Monday. If I am to come down with strep will they still induce? How soon will strep affect me if I've caught it? And is there anything I can do meanwhile to help fight any bacteria I've already been exposed to?

Hi everyone, recently I went to the doctor with a nasty sore throat that had started to get swollen and accumulate white spots. He tested me for strep and found that it was not that, and my lymph nodes are not swollen for it to be mono. He said it was a viral infection that should last about three to four days. Anyway, the next day, I performed oral sex on my boyfriend. The day after that, I realized the infection had gotten even worse (at least to me). Could this have exacerbated the problem?
About a year ago, I went out alone and wound up being drugged and raped. I don't know if protection was used and didn't go to the police. I'm a guy and I was embarrassed and ashamed. A few months afterward I started breaking out in hives all over my stomach, thighs, and buttocks. Then my penis became very dry and clusters formed on the head. I became terrified that I had an STD. About a week after the clusters appeared, they went away. Then I started bleeding from my anus.
Also of people get fever and feel really sick with a strep inection but sometimes all you have is a chronic sore throat. If you let a strep infection go for a long time without treatment it can make you seriously ill and could even kill you.That is rare but it does happen. Go to the doc. A simple exam and maybe a throat swab should reveal the cause of your sore throat. Good luck, hope you feel better.
