1324549 tn?1295789235 (am 1cm and 70% effaced and having BH) We are expecting an Ice storm on Tuesday and a Full Moon is Wednesday. Have been told by many to be ready for the full moon and that bad weather has an effect on starting labor. Did some reading on this. The bad weather is the air pressure and the full moon is the gravitational pull. The way it effects the tides etc. It's said also that L&D at the hospitals add extra staff at this time because they are known to be extra busy.

Avatar n tn The absolutely best thing for controlling diarrhea is zeolite. My second favorite is Sangre de Drago. Try googling "zeolite pure" and "esdifan". Also, look up serrapeptase and LDN, low dose naltrexone - not so much for symptom control but for helping with the disease. You can buy them all online.
Avatar n tn Hey Doc, I had papillary cancer about 6 years ago. I just switched from synthroid to levothyroxine about a week ago, and now I'm itching like crazy! My arms and legs mostly. And switching to levothyroxine is the ONLY thing that I have changed! Thanks!

Avatar n tn Have you been tested for Graves Disease and/or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis? Both of these are autoimmune conditions that present with hyperthyroidism (low TSH and Free T4 and Free T3 in the upper ranges - that's assuming you had the FREE T4 and FREE T3 tested vs Total T4 and Total T3... It's not just carbimazole that can cause swelling of the thyroid or nodular enlargement. So can thyroid conditions, in general.

Avatar m tn After a year of doctor visits and tests, I believe I experienced a thyrotoxic storm in November 2007. It occurred after my first ever chirporactic adjustment, and was characterized by five continuous days of 1) fever, 2) heart rate often >160 bpm, 3) blood pressure >150/110, and 4) headaches. After symptoms disappeared, I was (and still am) left with sensitivity to warmth, excess perspiration, and some light sensitivity at night.
