stop smoking easy

I stopped smoking 58 days ago and just decided that i was stronger than that stupid little cig....i still get the urge but i never give in, I smoked for 29 years and the last couple of years , just really did not like the way i smelled and looked and all that nasty stuff that goes with smoking...

I know this is going to sound trite, but you CAN stop smoking if you truly WANT to. I used to feel just like you, do a Rip Van Winkle and sleep through the cravings and withdrawals. I can't tell you how many times I gave into that crave just 15 minutes after I said that this was my last one! That's because I really didn't want to quit. After smoking for 40 years and using an inhaler for the last 5 of my smoking years, I decided that it was time.

Hi I quit smoking 6 weeks ago. I had smoked for 9 years (yes i was a young starter) When I tried to quit before I found it really difficult coz it felt like I was missing out on something (if that makes sense?) then a friend told me about this book called Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking: Be a Happy Non-smoker for the Rest of Your Life. I read it and that really helped me. Its hard to explian but if you read it with an open mind it will work.

m really stugglimg to stop smoking because my friends etc smoke and it makes me want one its really getting to me I want to stop for me and my baby midwife referimg me to stop smoking next week did anyone find it easy with the smoking patches etc? And Wich did u find best?

A few years back I read a book called "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" it explains what a confirmed smoker is, and that's someone who says they want to quit and can't but the truth is this person doesn't want to, they enjoy it to much...theres a big difference between a confirmed smoker and one who truly wants to quit. I smoked since I was 12, I read this book and literally stopped smoking after I read the last page and closed the book.

Need to quit smoking I have been smoking since I was 18 years old and I am now 41

My grandmother stop smoking two days ago. She has been experiencing trouble breathing (wheezing), feeling weak throughout her body, frequent urination to the bathroom and cramps in her legs and feet. I would like too know if these symptoms are the affects of the withdrawl process? Please explain each symptom why she is going through this.

I want to say there is more nicotine in an e cgis but not certain. Just try to wien yourself off. When my mother in law attemoed to stop smoking I always saw her with an unlit cigarette in her mouth that she would puff on. It seemed to work for her. I'm sure it's still not good for you but better than actually inhaling the smoke. Hope this help, good luck. You can do it!!

My family wont stop smoking around me and i keep choking on the smoke .. im 5 weeks pregnant should i worry ??

I think what helped me stop smoking was my baby. I'm 16 weeks now. I just imagined all the damage it could do to my son and that it would be my fault that he doesn't come out healthy so for me it was easy to stop.

t have all the chemicals. When it ran out I was finished smoking. Ask your ob first before you do it though just in case.

I have been diagnosed with many mental health disorders and I know for me to even have a chance at dealing with them I have to stop smoking weed but I just cant. Ive tried everything, treatment centres, everything and I just want so badly to stop. Im also scared if I stop smoking weed then I will start drinking again and that would be really bad because I go crazy when I drink so I just dont know what to do.

ll be able to go until 8 or 9 at night to have your first cigarette. It isnt fast and easy but knowing I can still smoke and not stop cold turkey helps a lot. good luck!!

Has anybody out there read the book: THE EASY WAY TO STOP SMOKING" and FINNISHED the LAST CHAPTER? Really wanna quit but just trying to deal with ONE demon at a time and not sure if that's the way to go?

I know how hard it is to stop smoking. I smoked since i was 11 and quit for my kids when i was 24 and i swore i would never touch one again..hated the smell..couldnt stand been around anyone who smoked..hated seeing ppl in the street smoking. Then one night whilst on holiday with family i got very drunk and had a cigarette and from that moment i slipped back into it so easily..i smoked every day for another cpl of month and then i found out i was pregnant with baby no4.

I am wondering if any one smoked during there pregnancy and if so was the baby ok, i am currently a smoker of roughly 7 a day which is to much for pregnancy even one is to much but i find it hard to quite what is the best way to stop smoking i have tried patches inhalator and cold turkey non worked i am scared that i will not be able to stop fully and am worried if my unborn daughter or son will have problems any ideas on how to quite or at least cut down to about 20 a week instead of 40 pse ma

In nearly 6 weeks pregnant & finding it extremely difficult to stop smoking is anyone else in the same positions or can give any advice?

I'm five weeks and working on quitting smoking but I haven't quiet hit that market is it going to leave long term effects I plan.to be at 0 cigarettes a day by next Sunday.
