It's now been 4 days of yellow, greasy, and kinda mucusy diarrhea (sorry but super gross). I had a slight fever on the second day however it went away. So I just thought it was a stomach virus. Third day felt like fine, continued on with my normal schedule. Not wanting to jinx it I ate lightly (crackers, bread, and water... etc.). Got home in time for dinner feeling perfectly fine. Ate couple slice of pizza and in the next hour had the same diarrhea as before.

It could still be a stomach virus, however, it could be a bacteria or even parasite. I recenlty had a stomach virus that lasted about 7-8 days. Been having a bad stomach virus for over a week with Terrible diarrhea my stomach feela like sour milk! Im drinking loads and loads of water to keep hydrated. But im nervous. If it could harm my baby having such a sour stomach? ?

t know how this could have happened considering that I drink at least 40 ounces of water a day anyways, Saturday during the day I started feeling nausea again and actually started to dry heave but nothing every came up and I had yellow diarrhea all during the day, I also felt the chills. It has been two days now and I am still having these feelings but the doctors tell me that it is nothing to be worried about but I am worried that it is something serious. Please help.

I have had a stomachache with bloating and heavy feeling along with nausea after eating and yellow diarrhea....I feel pretty bad I called the doctor but was told it was a stomach virus....my stomach feel heavy it lets up during the day a bit but right after I eat....it just feels terrible. A week ago I came down with a pretty bad stomach bug. Fever, nausea/vomiting, chills, terrible diarrhea. I gave my body the weekend to feel better but each day I woke up feeling slightly worse than the day before. The nausea and diarrhea were unbearable. When Monday morning rolled aeound I figured I'd better see a doctor. I went to Urgent Care and got a bag of I.V. fluids and 8mg of Zofran intravenously. I was extremely dehydrated and it definitely helped!

ve worked in the medical field and found that sometimes exaggerating a bit will get you the needed attention and proper testing. Bright yellow diarrhea is not part of a stomach virus. I do think you need a colonoscopy, and blood work. Nobody knows their body better than you, and you know when something is more than the flu. If you can get into a gastroenterologist right away, do this. They are better able to address your issues.

Hi! So I usually never get sick. In the last 8 months I have had 4 episodes of the same "stomach virus". I wake up in the middle of the night with the doom feeling and have diarrhea. It quickly turns to bright yellow and I have multiple episodes throughout the night. I do not usually feel sick to my stomach like nausea but I have dry heaved with each of the 4 episodes. My last one was Thursday night into Friday.

I have been experiencing yellow nearly all liquid diarrhea for almost three weeks now. I had renal blood work done that came back within normal parameters and have yet to get my stool results back from the lab. My Dr. put me on Levaquin and atropine which i have been taking for 4 days with no improvement in my symptoms. I am now experiencing pain in my lower left abdomen. I aa also losing weight. Whenever I visit my parents, I always get sick ~ upset stomach, cramps, yellow and sometimes oily diarrhea. I don't drink their water, but do use a lot of ice which is filtered. Could there be something in the water that causes this to happen? Their water is from a well, not public. They happen to live in NY State and I live in Northern NJ.

He had a stomach virus on Monday. Only diarrhea lasted maybe a half a day. He also had really bad stomach cramps that night too, but he never threw up. For past couple of weeks have been having alternating yellow stool, and yellow diarrhea. And pain lower left abdomin. Went to the ER, they said nothing to worry about. I looked it up and it says that it can either be Giardia or Gilbert's Syndrome. Yours sounds more like Giardia.

I had it the first couple weeks before I knew I was preggo it eventually went away. I thought I had a stomach virus.
