While at Mexico, me and my friend had a couple drinks and ended up at a spa place where I received a hand job from a prostitute who rubbed her vagina. Yeah I live in Texas and they've confirmed several cases throughout the state, some as close as neighboring counties. But I guess you're right, we can't worry over things we can't control or give in to media hype. I'm just glad we have access to medication that'll help combat this virus. I was in Mexico for 2 years from 2004-2006 as a missionary for my church. I was sick for the majority of the time, with a variety of symptoms. After returning home, things got better, but it wasn't very long before i got sick again. My main symptoms have been: Fatigue, headaches (top of the head and they last all day.it is a constant pain that i have needed oxycotin prescribed to help with the pain.), loss of appetite, sensitive stomach, i heal slower, and i have major trouble waking up.

Another thing is, you can drink grape juice (no sugar added), daily also, cuz the acid in the juice will prevent any virus from settling in your intestines. All I do is, every evening, I pour my Kids (ages 7&3) a 1/4 cup grape juice, with 1 tsp of sphere cider vinegar, n they drink it, without even knowing.. Its the best way to prevent that crap. And a very healthy/cheap way.. Feel free ti drink it with water after u get the virus, as it kills on contact.

Had a WONDERFUL time in Cancun, Mexico and all went just fine .. thyroid behaved okay, didn't lose any synthroid enroute and they finally got right meds for my urinary tract infection the day before I left!!! Your risk for infection was very low from the exposure you describe. If you had acquired gonorrhea, chlamydia, or NGU from your exposure however, the azithromycin you took would have cured/prevented any infection. Taking antibiotics too soon after an exposure is not a concern. There is no reason for further concern. Frequent urination is not a sign of infection with any STI but it is a sign of anxiety.
