Iv vomited blood and the quering a stomach ulcer. I refused to have an x ray to diagnose me and not to keen on having an OGD done as ill need to be sedated. I dont feel compfortable doing this whilst pregnant. Anyone else had similar experiance or treatment to get diagnosed?

The doctor said that it should not have been blamed on my prengnancy but that I probably have anxiaty attacks. When I read up on it online it sounded more like a stomach ulcer. COuld that be right ? How do I tell ??

we went to a+e and explained they always seem to occur after meals, but his stools are all normal so that rules out IBS. The docs thought it may be renal stones but his urinalysis, bloods, and abdo x-ray were all clear. We have been advised to go to the GP which we will do but in the mean time do you have any suggestions?

I was 8 months pregnant when I got the cough doctors tried everything from asthma medications, antibiotics to codeine to no avail. Finally when I had my baby I had a chest x-ray, UBT, an upper GI with the Barium, and a full abdomen xray with all negative results. I'm on the highest dose of Losec. The cough has gone away but I still get acid reflux and the occasional heartburn.

I have a dental appointment tomorrow and I know they may try to give me an x-ray. I'm 16 weeks now and this is my first pregnancy. I went to the dentist earlier this year and they didn't want to do an x-ray because I was in my 1st trimester. Is it really safe to have one done now?

I went to the doctor about a week ago and told him everything. I forgot to ask for a breath test though. He gave me a prescription for Omeprazole 20 mg when I told him I'd been taking it, so insurance pays for most of it now. In July I am supposed to go back if I don't get any better, which I don't think I will. He said he will take an x-ray then (barium x-ray I assume). This stuff isn't getting worse and I have stopped worrying about what it is (for the most part).

Once he is calm down they did blood test, urine test, ultrasound and x ray. Everything came back looking great. Good news is it’s not intestinal, bladder (UTI), stomach or appendix! Bad news they don’t know what it is. Agree it is probably a bug. The next night same thing, over the top screams of pain. Went back into emergency, saw another doctor who did a more thorough ultrasound and blood etc. Nothing. Over the next few days he seemed to improve by which I mean less pain and screaming.

He complains of pain everytime he eats and upon waking up. We had a stomach x-ray to see if he was constipated. He was clear. They though he might have H.Pylori, clear. The are now testing his stools for parasites. His stools are a vibrant green color even if he hasn't had any veggies the night before. His Dr. has suggested we give him a table spoon of malox prior to eating anything. He will spend a good part of the day sitting on the toilet, but can't produce anything.

EKG, Chest X-Ray, basic blood work, ultrasound of gallbladder, pancrease, liver normal, all blood work normal. -Tested positive for H Pylori. - No sensitivity to touch chest. GI Cocktail inneffective - pain meds at ER and hydrocodone worked well. Took Ramididine. - After two weeks chest pain subsided. - Then my stomache got so bad I couldn't eat for a few days - spasms just above my navel and below my ribs and a general pain just above belly button.

I hear gurgle like sounds when I laugh deep. Had my first chest X-ray in 20 yrs and that was normal. Went to allergists no common allergies or asthma. Allergic to mold and dust mites. Am concerned since it is only my left lung. I sleep on my left side most of the night and have post nasal drip. Medicare may not pay for a CT scan since I am healthy and never smoked. Should I be worried?

It was decided that I probably had an inflamed stomach lining or an ulcer. While there they took blood to test for electrolytes, lyme disease, and thyroid function, I haven't heard the lab results from that so I assume normal. Was put on a prescription prilosec, and to give it 3 weeks.

After a short while, she became very very tired and almost lethargic. One more x-ray revealed no movement, and was instructed to go somewhere (home, cafe', ect.) and try to eat or drink something, anything, to get this stuff to pass thru. She became nauseated and "lost" about 40% of the barium on the curb 2 blocks from the hospital. Medical staff instructed me to return her to the radiologist in approx. 90 minutes, which we did.

It could possibly be an ulcer in your stomach as this would cause bleeding of the stomach and blood would come up to the mouth. Other possibilities are any infection of the lining of your throat, lungs and nose. A throat examination and tests like endoscopy and X-ray chest may be helpful. I have been suffering some kind of constant stomach area pain for the past several weeks. It is right below my esophagus where it would be entering my stomach. I was having problems with swallowing a few weeks ago along with the pain. I could feel my food and beverage easing down my esophagus. I started taking 20 then after a bit of time 40 mg of Prilosec (normal dose is 20 mg) and that ended the swallowing issue but the stomach pain remained.

my latest back x ray for some reason the dr's still want me taqking the pain killers saying that I must still be in alot of pain

Could this be just muscle (have tried hot and cold packs but they make no difference), kidney?

The last time this happened over one year ago, they did an x-ray of his stomach and again sent him home to rest. A couple of days ago, when he was taken into hospital as the pain was very severe, his palms and forhead were clammy but he felt really cold. He was sat right in front of the fire but could not get warm but no fever or anything now. I will have a look at diverticulitis so thank you very much for that.

I'm 39 years old 5foot6 180 pounds, I lift weights and keep in shape. I suffered from anxiety and panic disorder, I took paxil cr.At one point in my life i got off the anxiety pills. But 2 years later i started getting stomach problems like cramps at first it was mild now its frequent and it put me in a sort of panic.So 4 years later after a colonoscopy and a camera down to the stomach came back negative.

Initial symptom was vomiting every 48 hours. We took him to the vet and he suggested an x-ray so we got one and he couldn't see anything so sent a to off to radiologist who said no obvious blockage but maybe foreign body in stomach. s, and now and abdominal x-ray shows her stomach full of poop. Her doctor only sent to her a laxative not even a name or brand and he told me to gave it to her for 4 to six months. It is possible how dangerous is for my poor daugther that poop in her stomach, she has bowel movements every day latlely painful for her. Any advice please??????
