I've been having stomach issues over the past couple of months. 2 weeks ago the pain was very bad, I noticed very dark stool and called mt PCP right away. She recommended that I go to an immediate/urgent care ASAP. The immediate care took an h pylori blood test. They called me back a few days later and said I tested positive. He then put me on triple therapy right away. My question is h pylori something that can come on after only a few months?

Instead of the heart burn feeling and tightening of the throat, my symptoms have changed to constantly feeling hungry. Even after I've eaten my stomach still isn't satisfied because I get the same feeling again 30 minutes later. I don't vomit or have diarrhea nor do I feel like I have to, but when I don't put something in my stomach when I'm hungry, it starts hurting.
During the treatment, I began have mild queasiness and aching in my epigastric area (many areas)
I developed an angry vaginal yeast infection. I treated that, and began probiotics right away. By then my stomach was very painful and churning burning ALL the time.
The foods I was eating regularly started making me feel like vomiting. Like potatoes, then beef, then chicken, cauliflower etc etc It' s as though I was/am still getting allergic to all these foods.

I know with my heartburn it just burns from my stomach up to my throat. Could she have a ulcer? I know when I had one my stomach hurt and it felt like cramping. have you taking her to a family dr? I would start there. And maybe when she is having these pains to have her eat some tums or something that is for heartburn just to see if that helps because those meds also help with ulcer pain.
I have been diagnosed with an ulcer of the duodenum. They said that no bacteria was present. Prior to my EGD I was taking Cipro for a kidney infection. Could this have made the bacteria non present? If not bacterial than what ar the non bacterial types?

I am a 27 year old female who 4 years ago started having severe pain in the top middle part of my stomach area. After ruling out IBS, Acid Reflux, etc, the doctor ordered my gallbladder to be removed. Once it was removed I continued to have the same intense pain. I then went through ERCP and CT scans of the abdomen which only revealed a small filling in my bile duct which was removed at that time.
The pain below stomach started last July when I was in Europe. I just walked on the street and felt suddenly a sharp pain in my intestines that was so intensive that almost brought me on my knees. After a couple of minutes the pain eased but it left a general pain. I started drinking herbal teas and went to the doctor. Herbal teas did not help much and utlrasound did not show anything. And the pain was still there. I then started drinking kefirs with biocultures and the pain eased significantly.
I woke up later
that night at about 2am with severe stomach pain. The pain has become mild andcomes and goes. Could I have an ulcer?
I'd go with the stomach ulcer or with gerd.
I've had what I believe is gerd the past few days. Last night in particular it was extremely painful and I got limited sleep. I too have been getting pain when eating and drinking and activity has been bringing on the pain too. I guess that is more when I am bending over.
If you're lying down to relax and experience pain then that would fit with acid reflux.

Your stomach has acid pumps that spew acid whenever food or liquid is added in your stomach. I do not know how many acid pumps there are in a human's stomach, but enough to attack whatever is added to your stomach for digestion purposes.
