stomach ulcer back pain

Could I have an ulcer? I have stomach pain around my belly button and above - pain goes through to my back. Pain severe when I waken in the morning until I get up (strange) Pain is worse when I am lying down. When I eat, the pain goes away for a couple of hours, then comes back.

I have GI appointment at the end of the month. Is it possible to have a stomach ulcer for 6 months?

t take otc medications very often and nothing else has changed. Whenever I took the oxy, I would have stomach acid come back up in my mouth about an hour after taking the medicine. I made an urgent apt with the pain doctor and she took me off of the oxy and put me on ms contin. She says I will very likely go through withdrawals. She started me a little bit lower with the ms contin to let my body adjust. I go back in 3 weeks and she will increase if needed.

under my rib cage is hurting, tender to touch, feels hard and the pain is radiating towards my back.. with sharp intermittent pains in the lower back and flank... severe nausea, but no vomiting... yet... freaking me out! help!

They also have me on 4 pills a day for the ulcer medicine and another pill to coat my stomach so my ulcer is probably already healed. I suffer from migraines as well and there will be times throughout the day my brain will feel bruised and like it's bleeding but only on the top. My question is should I go get the testing done or would it just be a waste?

Everyone is exibiting pretty much the same symptoms of heartburn, extreme stomach cramps, sometimes even moving to the back, nausea, vomitting...etc. Doctors are all eliminating this as GERD or acid reflux. Its ridiculous, no one has discovered what the hell is going on here. Either the problem is so simple that all one needs to do is make adjustments to diet or alternatively its so complicated that no doctor knows what is going on.

I had ultrasound on kidneys/pancreas/spleen/liver and gall bladder (all ok) and a spine x-ray that showed DISH. During all this the back pain was abating and I had gotten some back massage from Core Fitness. Then an arthroscopy last week on my right knee last week (which was successful). Since then there has been very little back pain, just a bit of tightness but none of the constant dull pain. Perhaps my knee had thrown my back out.

Has anyone experienced severe stomach pain during withdrawal from hydros. It feels like an ulcer. Besides not sleeping, that has been the worst part.

I am going to see a specialist soon but I always get anxiety over this. The pain in my stomach comes and goes. I sleep well at night with no pain. I am not jaundice, Fell fine other than my back and my stomach. My lipase was elevated two years ago as well so I think I disrupted things when I vomited. What do you think. I don't drink I don't smoke I exercise 5 days a week. I am not over weight.

Sorry your daughter has been in so much pain. I know with my heartburn it just burns from my stomach up to my throat. Could she have a ulcer? I know when I had one my stomach hurt and it felt like cramping. have you taking her to a family dr? I would start there. And maybe when she is having these pains to have her eat some tums or something that is for heartburn just to see if that helps because those meds also help with ulcer pain.

Does anybody else get an ulser like pain in the middle at the top of stomach? Am on faldaprevir, ribavirin, BI 207127. Pain only started after I started treatment 3 days ago.

Is it in his upper part of his stomach or lower abdominal area? Is there any back pain involved? Maybe an EGD should be done. He could be having gallstones as well or an ulcer. But an EGD will show that. Good luck!

ve been taking voltarol over along period of time for my low back pain I presumed that I may have an ulcer so I went to the docter stopped taking the voltarol and went for a barium meal. They found nothing no ulcer etc..I take 2 omaprazole every morning.

bloating after eating (sometimes), upset stomach (often, especially after coffee), stomach pain pretty much right between the breastbone and navel, heartburn (frequently but not always), lack of appetite (sometimes), and belching (frequently). Sometimes the pain is relieved by eating, sometimes it's made worse. Over the past 3-4 months I've had two episodes of burping acid back into my mouth but I don't know if that's related or not.

my regular dr wants me to get an upper GI which i can not afford because he wants to see where the ulcer is, the hospital just says i have heartburn, I know heartburn and this is not it, this is pain like someone is tearing my stomach a part and its a sharp pain even into my back, everything makes it hurt worse. So does anyone know any ways to make it hurt less? I am trying to get some medical asstance so i can pay for the tests. Any ideas or advice is welcome.

I have gastritis - would this be causing upper back pain between shoulder blades after I eat. Antacids don't really seem to help much.
