i only got my scan at 7 weeks because I was bleeding. My first doctors appointment was set for 10 weeks and I dont think I would have been scanned then. It is odd that you are 14 weeks with no scan though. Were you offered the downs test? That should have been at 12 weeks. Anyway, it does sound like ligiment pains.

I had some stomach cramps with my last pregnancy and from about 5 days after I ovulated I just knew I was pregnant, as my breasts became quite sore too, and increased mucus was also a symptom for me too, the lotion stuff you mention could be the mucus plug, being my 4th baby though I knew a lot of the symptoms. You can't go off of symptoms to know if you are pregnant. If you've had sex, you run the risk of getting pregnant. If it was unprotected, the risk is even higher. Though I have a feeling it's all in your mind. Stress and PMS both mimic pregnancy symptoms which is why symptoms are not reliable. You can take the test 2 weeks after the sexual encounter or after your missed period.
