I just finished my two years of tamoxifen and start my arimidex this week. I recently developed severe stomach pains with cramps, diarrhea and what feels like acid indigestion that has lasted for almost a week. Everything I swallow with the exception of water, makes me hurt terribly. We were in Costa Rica when it started so my G.P. thinks it's either a parasite or a staff infection. I wondered if it could be from my chemo and radiation treatments.
So last week I was vomiting every 20 mins and I went to the ER after I ended up missing a lot of work. And today I started the vomiting again. But this time I'm getting crazy painful stomach pains. It sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. I'm 11 weeks and it's first pregnancy. My boss says that I can't keep missing work otherwise I will lose my job.
I've been having stomach ache pains for about 6 days or so now, accompanied with diahrrea (yay!!) But I haven't had nausea, vomiting, or fever. So I'm not sure if it's a virus or potentially preterm labor - don't even know if that's even a sign of labor. I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby, so i really have no clue what to expect or make of this. Im sure new moms can relate ;) Has anyone had anything similar to this? Thanks!!!
i been vomiting for about 4 days now. the vomiting doesn't let anything stay in my stomach.not even liquids. on a daily basis I've thrown up from 4-7 times.im not pregnant but the vomiting starts as soon as i wake up, kinda like morning sickness?!?! i went to my doctor and she didnt help much. i've also started to see very blury so im worried.

How long does the vomiting / stomach pains last after stopping the drug? Because she has been vomiting for so long, do you suspect that she is binging on the drug and or alcohol? Does the vomiting and stomach pains occur with both oxy and alcohol abuse or is it just the oxy? Based on these symptoms, is there a possibility of overdose. If you have any suggestions on what I can do to help her get help, I am open for anything. She used to attend AA meetings but has not been in a while.
Then the vomiting came back at first it was once or twice a day. Now it is about 8 times a day. She also has really sharp pains occasionally in her upper stomach. They have done blood test, put a scope down her throat and into her stomach and intestines and run a gastro emptying test. Everything came back normal. Any ideas on any conditions that they could be missing. She has no fever, but the vomiting has been going on for months with no end in sight, even reglan didn't help.

Call your local pharmacy and schedule a consultation with the Pharmacist. Also, ask your doctor for a referral to an Endocrinologist, a diabetes specialist, as your current doctor appears to be playing you as a guinea pig; try this and if it doesn't work we'll try something until we find something that works, maybe.
I went to the doctor yesterday as i have been experiencing stomach pains. After examining me he put it down to stress knowing am going through several stressful things at the moment. Last night though i was vomiting and now i just feel lightheaded and nauseous. im really thirsty and so have been trying to drink heaps. Im on Naproxen and codeine for pain relief and because of the vomiting they arent really working so well. any ideas how to stop this?
I just recently started having these stomach spasms. It starts with mild pains and spasms in my middle abdomen and then becomes more and more severe as the evening progresses resulting in severe nausea and vomiting and spasms that feel like contractions every 5 or 10 minutes. When the spasms occur, I become extremely nauseated. They last about 30 seconds and then subside and then return. This usually lasts about 12 hours and I am extremely sick the entire time.
Now, I get quite frequent (typically one every 2-3 months) severe stomach upsets. I tend to wake up feeling fired and not myself. Gradually I get stomach pains, then eventually painful cramps. I feel extremely ill, nauseus and faint and wake up every 1-2 hours to be sick. I bring up clear gastric juices and finally a large amount (over a pint!) of green bileous liquid - after which I start to recover. I have no bowel movements until the next day, when I get diarrhoea.
I'm 10 weeks & Yesterday I had really bad pain in my stomach feeling like I had to poop or throw up couldn't do either . I took a Nap today woke up agian with stomach pains threw up 5 times bad & 10 minutes later diareha really bad . what do i do ? Help .
Some upper shoulder blade pain, random left arm pains, which my DOC said was from trigger points he felt in my back. Anyways, am hoping this was just a bug, and not cardiac related, because I did have an elevated white blood cell count and a slight temp....wasn't sure if this could still indicate it was actually caused by a heart condition and not a bug. The ER doc didnt even want to do an EKG, but I asked him to so I could have a piece of mind. Thanks for your input.
t seem to have the stomach pains. Not sure why when you see how much I am vomiting every day. I also had Botox injections in early March. That didn't help either. Maybe you should look for a new GI doctor once. I know my local doctor was like that at me too.Before I was told I had GP, he was very unfriendly at times to me.I think he was more frustrated than me because he didn't know what was wrong with me.
I've been vomiting all day and a few minutes ago blood was coming out now I feel like there is a huge lump in my throat. It hurts when I swallow, I gargled with salt water that did not help.
I've had an infection before in my belly button with pus and it even leaked blood. I've been having stomach pains/body pains and vomiting for the past 12 months. I've noticed a couple times that my belly button had a hole, like it had opened. Idk if that's a bad thing or what but I'm starting to freak myself out now because I feel like there's just a open wound to the inside of my body.help!
