Does anyone get pain in the upper stomach/rib area? I get pain in my back which seems to radiate to my stomach and it is one of the most horrible symptoms yet. I went to my family doctor because I thought maybe I had a gallbladder attack, but he said he thought it was the fibro attacking my abdominal muscles. He gave me SOMA, which helped a little, but 2 hrs. later the pain was bad again. I can't sleep at night and can't find a comfortable position. Can anyone help?

m 30 weeks and over like the last week my stomach muscles have been so sore and sensitive I feel a constant pain in my stomach. If so, what have you done that has helped to relieve some of the pain?

When I was done with them,I got some pain in my stomach,with just less than 30 mins of exercise is that good or bad? Healthy or not?

ve been playing volleyball ever since I was little and about a year ago I had this very very sharp pain in my stomach while we were conditioning. It was the most painful stomach cramp in my life! The area where it hurt was very spesific and when it reocurrs its always in the same spot, on my right side of my stomach in the middle of my belly button and my hip bone, if you drew a diagonal line from my belly button to my hip bone it would be right in the midde.

I have been having a pain in the top of my stomach when i get up or when I breathe deeply (like a yawn). It's not a sharp pain and doesn't feel like the lower round ligament pain... it feels like the muscle at the top of my stomach is getting pulled out of my stomach. I'm 24 weeks. Anyone have any ideas?

There is a muscle that normally opens to let food into the stomach and closes to keep food and stomach acid in. With GERD, this muscle does not work properly, and causes food and stomach acid to leak back up the esophagus. It could also be Gastroenteritis as Tuck has suggested. There are also about 2000 other reasons why you are vomiting stomach acid. Please have it checked out. Make that appt. with your Doctor. Better safe than sorry. Please take care and good luck.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I was wondering if I can have it in my stomach muscles. My pain is always there but sometimes goes away for a month and then comes back.Could this be part of the fibro?

I can start off by saying that I "think" I have RLS. I have yet to figure out what it really is. When I drift off to sleep, I start off with weird random bodily twitches that'll like effect my whole body sometimes, but that doesn't wake me up. However, it does worry my boyfriend due to him witnessing this.

OK I had stomach pain a hour ago and my stomach got tight with the pain now I feel it in my butt link its sore what should I do I'm only 25wks

I am a female, 21 years old, and am being treated for psoas muscle pain (trigger point therapy) in my lower abdomen and lower back by a PT/Chiropractor. I've had this pain for a good 2 years but it just recently got a lot worse. The doctor who is treating me believes the muscle is not working right; that it has not adjusted to my body as I have grown. The only problem is that along with this pain I have developed a distended abdomen (that is even worse after I eat).

The newer symptoms included very sensitive ears (only some days), and tingling almost shaking feeling throughout my body, my eyes having big red stripes going through them, very fatigue, spacisity, as well as my stomach hurting VERY badly. The pain in my stomach isn't just a selected area anymore, it goes throughout my entire stomach making it feel like there is an incredible amount of pressure. It hurts when I touch, and doing a sit-up is near impossible without alot of pain.

I also get really bad period cramps and a few weeks ago, when I had both the stomach pain and cramps, I was woken up at 2am in unbelievable pain, which I couldn’t distinguish whether it was cramps or the stomach pain. It didn’t go away very quickly either and pain killers didn’t work. Now I’m at the stage where every time I eat, my stomach gurgles and churns really loudly, then I get the pains. I pulled a muscle near my pelvic area, as if the pelvic pain wasn't enough! I know your pain, doctor said there's not much they can do. Tylenol and bath.

For the last 3 weeks or so iv had almost bad lower stomach pain like a pulled muscle. I keep hearing its normal its ok just take it easy. I take it easy. It hurts when i caugh, sneeze, walk for a while like shopping, bend over, pick stuff up, hurts woeat to roll or sit up out of bed but sends a horrible sharp pain when i get sick. And im sick all day everyday. I didnt think it was supposed to be severe?!?! I have no dr yet. Worried about waiting another month to see a dr and ask...
