Since you are having these symptoms only after entering the sea water, so it looks like an allergic reaction to the constituents of sea water like cold water of the ocean or to the inorganic and organic contents of the ocean water. The inorganic contents are the various mineral salts found in the ocean water and the organic contents are the algae, protozoans and the planktons.
Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl and apply calamine lotion.
I went to the beach today, and as soon as I got out of the ocean, I noticed a multitude of raised red welts (ranging from the size of a pen-tip to the size of a tic-tac) scattered about on my thighs and calves. They appeared nowhere else on my body. It is not razor stubble (I do not need to shave my legs above my knees, so I never have), and this "rash" (?
But for the last two occurrences, he began experiencing pain after being in the water for about 15 minutes (ocean and then a few days later at a pool) and it was so bad he was crying. After he urinates the pain subsides, but when he initially starts to urinate the pain/burning is so intense he screams. He does not have problems with pain or urination at any other time, and we go months and months without swimming but each time it's the same problem.
The Ocean can cause it and my guess is it would be Bacterial, there is something called the Red Tide in Florida and that does cause Rashes they usually tell you on the News as itw well known to cause the skin Rashes, put it in your Sreach engine

If ur not having any kind of pain or cramping or bleeding from ur rendezvous then I would think ur probably in the clear. But I definitely would not do that again, cuz if it were me, I would be a lil too embarrassed to tell my Dr what I did and how that could've resulted in threatening my pregnancy. I hope everything is fine with u, but definitely do not do that again. The ocean is already full of germs and u don't need that getting where it doesn't belong.

You can confirm that by getting yourself tested for allergies by an allergist.
Yesterday afternoon I came home from school, ate lunch, and began to feel a strange sensation in my stomach and throat. It's difficult to explain, but it almost felt like my stomach was flooded and it reached all the way up to my throat. It also felt tight like If I was nervous and couldn't relax it. I thought I was going to throw up (although I didn't feel any nausea) so I stopped drinking and eating anything for a few hours until it went away.

I would be kinda scared Cuz ocean water is dirty!!! Sea creatures, sand, pee ( from who's knows?) Pollution etc.. idk that's would be me. but sounds u guys had a good day! And yeah pee after so u can get washed out.

I would spend some time walking and sitting by the water, then sitting with your feet in the water, a slow progression. Do this so that you can feel comfortable with the water. Keep telling yourself how healthy you are and for all you do I'm sure you're in great health! A nice swim would be freeing for you! If you live by the ocean that's even better, sit and relax taking in the sounds, and smell of the water.
Does this same episode occur while open-water swimming in the pacific or atlantic ocean?
My concern would be:
1) temporary weakness in the immune system - especially if you are consuming larger amounts of alcohol, and suffering jet lag.
hi well im only 17 but that happens to me alot and its probably a urinary tract infection i find drinking water helps but i know its realy annoying but i just relax in bed for a day with a hot water bottle on my lower stomach i srink lots and lots of water an i mean tonns i do not eat for that day because some foods depending who you are can cause it to get worse so i dont realy eat anything just drink alot of water. i usually feel better within the next day.
Wanted to know (had posted) how Spectda was doing. Has anyone ever heard of the water cure? Many books written by a Dr. about it, a facebook riddled with so much pain as a result of disease and bedridden for 2 years is now working, she referred me to a gentleman w/termnal cancer, sent home to put his affairs in order who has no trace of cancer in his body now as a result of the "water cure"...as I have one more appt (next month) w/family m.d.
So I have been doing SO much research, and I'm not going to lie, im totally scared now and I wasn't before lol. First time mommy and I'm 22 (23 before I have my baby) and right now I'm 7wks & 5dys :) ... Anywho, I'm obsessed with the ocean and water and thought itd be great doing a water birth. I watched some videos online and now a water birth just scares me lol. Does anyone have any advice on a c-section ??
There is another major threat looming for inland Towns and cities ,with Hurrican e season in effect ,there is a potential for ocean oil to be picked up by Hurricane driven rains and dropped into fresh water lakes and rivers ,far from the ocean thereby adding to the poltion of water supplies and eco-systems.
