It gets better with over the counter antacids. Stomach flu can cause indigestion and abdominal discomfort. Viral gastroenteritis can lead to nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Avatar m tn A few months ago, I posted a thread on this forum saying that after my breakfast I usually experience stomach pain. I went to the doctor to get it checked out and he said that I am very healthy and that everything is OK. He gave me some pills to take for a week and they made my problem go away. Furthermore, he sent some of my poop to the clinic to run some tests and they turned out fine.
Avatar n tn If the diarrhea continues you should see a doctor about this. Have you noticed that the diarrhea correlates to something you are eating (like a large glass of milk)?
Avatar f tn I usually try to go for a walk an hour or two after eating but as soon as I get in the car to drive to the lake I feel ill... any movement travelling or walking I feel ill like I need to either throw up or poo (sometimes I can do neither. Walking makes it worse and after some time walking I end up with really soft poo. Avatar f tn so, in the past few months, I've been woken up out of my sleep by a weird stomachache. I can't really even explain the pain... it's localized entirely in my stomach, & feels like an almost cramping pain. it occasionally makes me feel somewhat nauseous, but not always.
Avatar m tn For the past 4 weeks, im experiencing heartburn and diarrhea in the morning(once a day). Not having stomach cramps and pain. 6 days ago I started avoiding coffee , milk, tea, soda, spicy food. I started taking antacid after meal. I ate more meat, food rich in fiber and psyllium fiber. My stool are now formed and soft in my first Po-Poh in the morning and after 30 min, my second po-Poh is watery again. What causes this? Is this anxiety related? Should I continue taking antacids?
Avatar m tn Other than this, my daughter doesnt have any fever, bleeding or vomitting, just this pain which now occurs after eating- when she was constipated the pain was more severe and frequent but I think I can narrow this down to just after eating now. We are awaiting an abdo scan - but in the meantime, can anyone give any ideas or advice of what to do to help ease these pains.
