Avatar f tn I have slight cramps after I eat a meal, usually dinner; slight pain in the stomach. I heard that because I eat fast that may have something to do with it? After a while the pain disappears. Any ideas?
Avatar n tn I agree that you should see your doctor about this. In the mean time, eat more frequent smaller meals, eat meals with less fat, and drink plenty of water.
Avatar n tn This only happens sometimes (about 75 %) especially after I eat. I have stop eating because when I do, I get very sick. Any suggestions?
1672269 tn?1303874294 Everytime I eat reguardless what it is I get severe pain all over my stomach. I sometimes have chest pain but that has seem to let up. I don't have any different stool since this pain has started. I am just in constant pain, it doesn't go away after an hour or two it stays with me thoughout the day. What could this be? I have already had my gallbladder, liver, and pancrease checked and they are fine. Dr doesn't have any idea what this is and acts as though I am making this up..
Avatar f tn I really don't want to go to another doctor so I am really trying to avoid it. I also don't want another colonoscopy until I have to have one. I had one three or so years ago. I am having difficulty eating without pain. It almost happens as soon as the food goes down. It has nothing to do with gas, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, diarrhea or acid reflux. I really don't have problems with these things.

Avatar f tn I have had bad stomach problems since I was a child and no doctor can tell me what is wrong. I am always nauseated. With or without food my stomach hurts. I vomit constantly. I am average weight and only 18 years old. I'm not pregnant. I'm just trying to see what is wrong. So can somebody please tell me why I am always nauseated. I don't eat spicy foods. I always watch what I eat. I drink plenty of water and I am pretty healthy. I take medication for heartburn but does not help.
Avatar f tn first, if it only happens when you eat spicy food...stop eating spicy foods. Next, find a nutritionist or food allergy specialist who can test you for food allergies and sensitivities. its possible you have one of these issues with a food you are eating on a regular basis.
Avatar n tn Recently, (starting 3 days ago) whenever I eat a meal I get moderate to severe stomach pain, initially the pain was severe and laid me up the whole day. I took Peptobismol which took the edge off but only for a while. Since then when I eat about an hour later I get upper left pain that is aches and is crampy, no burning, but my stomach feels very bloated. This all goes away when my stomach is empty, no pain, bloating etc. I have not noticed a change in bowel habits.
Avatar f tn I was able to eat these foods all my life, and now I can no longer eat them without experiencing pain. The pain usually starts about 30 minutes to an hour after I eat, then continues for about 2-4 hours. The pain is sharp in the upper portion of my abdomen right below where my ribs meet. It is not heartburn, as I don't have a burning sensation. Along with this pain comes nausua, and occasionally vomitting. The pain will go away faster after I vomit, but not immediately.
Avatar f tn I have a strange stomach pain after I eat. Its been getting worse, and I recently began vomiting. The pain is on both sides of my lower abdominal and my stomach, and radiates to my back, causing spasms. It comes in goes in waves for about a hour. Nothing seems to relieve it. Moving makes it worse, as does laying on my side. Whats wrong with me?

Avatar f tn This morning I woke up with discomfort just down from my sternum or breast bone. After I eat the pain gets worse and I just tried to drink some juice and had an immediate increase in pain again. It is constant but gets worse any time I eat or drink anything. The pain does not seem serious but I am very uncomfortable and a bit concerned. Any one else had this if so what causes this and is there anyway to get relief?
Avatar n tn For about 2-3 months my stomach has been giving me this really bad pain, but it goes away after about an hour. It comes after I eat sometimes and then other times it just comes up whenever. It's not just in one spot it's my whole stomach, and sometimes i get this feeling where I need to throwup but it goes away in 5-10 minutes. Should I go see my doctor or will all of this stop after a while?

849683 tn?1239013686 In August of '07 I had my spleen removed due to ITP. Ever since I woke up from the surgery I get a severe pain in my left shoulder everytime i eat something. It doesn't matter what I eat or how much I eat. The pain feels like someone is squeezing my shoulder as hard as they can. It makes it unbearable to move. If I eat a full meal then it feels like there's a balloon in my shoulder that expands when I breath and the person squeezing my shoulder is trying their best to pop it.
Avatar m tn I had my gallbladder removed 4/11 and since the removal i still continue to have pain on my right side and my stomach is still bloated. I've cut out most fats, good and bad, gluten and dairy, i'm pretty much eating lean turkey, chicken and veggies which still seem to cause pain and bloating. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Avatar f tn She has not been able to eat much of anything without having stomach pains and going to the bathroom immediately after eating with diarhea. She even wakes up in the morning and before she eats or drinks anything, she has to go to the bathroom. She nas not had a normal bowel movement since the surgery and she tried to eat a hambruger and she threw up and had stomach pain.
Avatar f tn I feel your pain. I've had digestive issues since I was 17. I'm 33 now. This is one suggestion I want you to try to just see how you feel. STOP drinking and eating all dairy products. I developed a dairy allergy when I was 17, so I know the feeling. Dairy products for some reason produce a lot of gas and bloat. Eliminate Dairy for 1 week and write down how you feel each day.
Avatar n tn Peptic ulcer disease causes upper left quadrant pain that usually begins 2 hours after a meal. It gets better with over the counter antacids. Stomach flu can cause indigestion and abdominal discomfort. Viral gastroenteritis can lead to nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. The exact location of pain and other details will help in determining the accurate cause .Take light meals. Avoid spicy fried foods. If the symptoms are severe consult a gastroenterologist. Best of luck and regards!
