Hi, i have smoked marijuana for about 2 years now. I have never been a heavy smoker, just once or twice a weekend. But for the first year and a half i never had any problems but recently after i smoke i get a pain in my stomach and lungs. Its not severe but its just uncomfortable..i don't know what it could be because i never get it when i'm not high. so i'm just wondering what this could be..
After reading you're first comment I was pretty sure that is a sign of pregnancy. If it was probably pain from you're uterus where the ovum has implanted which would cause a deep stomach pain. However, you should probably consult a doctor or checkout you're local Planned Parenthood. Also, try to think back to when you had risky/unprotected sex if you can remember.
For 6 months, I have been experiencing stomach pain, gas & occasion diarrhea. I have seen my primary physician and a gastro specialist. I have had an ultra-sound, endoscopy, cat scan and colonoscopy. Nothing significant has shown up and I still have the same symptoms. Nexium was prescribed. Any advice?
Can anyone describe in as much detail as possible what kind of pain or symptoms (if any) they felt after quitting smoking? I have felt this gnawing pain and sometimes sharp pain like being poked with a needle in my stomach somewhere during the time I quit smoking. I can't tell if it is from quitting or a symptom of something else. I know I should go see a doctor but I am so low on money w/ no insurance. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I have been having upper middle stomach pain right below breast and top of rib cage. The pain is like a dull burning sensation that comes and goes. May last 15 minutes to an hour. My mid back also has a dull ache at the same time. Usually laying flat on my stomach tends to relieve the pain some. It does occur after eating sometime but not with any particular food. It could be cereal or steak it does not seem to matter. I do not have any nausea or fever.
Hello for the past few months i have been having severe stomach pain and nausea, i havnt vomited from this yet but its makes doing things very difficault the pain last for hours at a time some days like today i woke up at 7am, and ive been experiancing the nausea and discomfort from about 8am to now its still going on at 11:20am. m not sure if this fully describes what is wrong with me. The stomach pain includes a dull, achy pain that is constant, but gets worse with stress, caffeine, alcohol or certain foods. I think the pain causes me to eat more because it is almost like a hunger pain. It's so bizarre to feel full and still have the stomach pain I experience because I feel full and hungry at the same time.
When I first started having these pains, I weighed 172 lbs and stood at 6'0.
It gets worse after food or any drink that isnt water sometimes I burp and it hurts in my chest and I burp up stomach acid.. My stomach is bloated most of the time.. wearing a girdle seems to ease my symptoms also.. My grandmother has a peptic ulcer, I dont know if thats hereditary, I have a couple sousins who take medicine for IBS also.. Im just wondering if anyone knows what these symptoms are and if they are related to the medicine or the diet or if it might be a medical condition..
Iv had stomach problems for a while combined with Weightloss and everything,EXCEPT stomach pain. This is all probably due to celiac though. Anyway a while back i quit smoking and started vaping but that probably made me have more nicotine. About a month ago i quit that too but since then iv had these weird symptoms like stomach ache which i have never had despite my other problems. Also got this itching feeling along my arms and back as well as headaches. Cant sleep at all either.
Now at the 4 month mark, every day after eating or even before eating I experience stomach cramping and discomfort, stomach burning, chest pains and occasional burning, the feeling of a lump in my throat, what seems to be reflux (feels like food and acid keep coming back up into my mouth and leaves me with bad breath and either a sour or bitter taste).
You will need to change a couple of medications or take a combination of medications like a proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole, lansoprazole or pantoprazole empty stomach in the morning and an antacid gel after meals for complete relief. Possibility of H pylori infection too should be looked into seriously by special tests for this and a combination antibiotic tried.
Life style changes include: Avoid heavy meals and eat frequent small meals.
Quit smoking 14th of June, 2017 after feeling dizzy, almost falling until I rested for a while. Had been smoking weed since 2009. Drinking and smoking cigarettes as well but not too often with the cigs. Stopped smoking weed, cigs abd drinking all at once. Three days after, I felt angina pain and pain in my lungs. It's been almost three weeks now and I still feel pains occasionally but not as severe as before. Feeling abdominal pains as well. Getting very scared now.
So I've had acid reflux since I was about 8. I've had ulcers in my stomach and esophagus since I was 15. I've gone on bland diets for months at a time and took prilosex and zantac, nothing helped. Then I started smoking Marijuana and it's like I don't even have stomach issues. I'd get the occasional heartburn after certain foods but not horrible. I've been smoking for two years.
The burning sensation can be due to reflux or GERD or simply acidity. Smoking can slow down the healing process and cause burning and pain on and off. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined.

From that time, I started eating beano before each meal and swallowing phazyme after each meal. The problem progressed to a point this week where I finally started smoking cigarettes again yesterday to try to get my digestive system back in order.
When I smoke, I almost immediately start passing gas - both from flatulence and belching. I'm trying to figure out what I can do to permanently quit smoking and not experience the gastric issues.

Possibility of H pylori infection too should be looked into by a carbon urea breath test and a combination antibiotic tried. Many a times a persisting H pylori infection can be the cause behind acidity not responding to treatment.
