Avatar m tn Everytime I go out, about once a month, I have severe epigastri pain after drinking a couple drinks, it lasts for about half an hour and it gets so bad i vomit and have sweats, after the half hour or so I'm fine, what could this be? When I was pregnant with my 3rd child 2 years ago I would have heartburn so bad I would spit up blood, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it, maybe a stomach ulcer or something? Thats the only time it hurst though is when i drink alcohol....
Avatar n tn I would stop the drinking and only take Tylenol for pain reliever and see if that helps at all after a week or more. I had an endoscopy done to diagnose mine and I'm on Nexium twice a day for the time being and will drop down to one a day soon but it's helped. It has taken about 3 weeks for my symptoms to show major improvement though.
Avatar m tn This is strange because I never vomit after drinking so little. I went back to sleep and woke up around 10 am feeling terrible like I had a hangover. It felt like i drank three times as much as I did. Along with the bloated feeling I also had strong heartburn after eating and could feel the burn when I belched. Now two days later I still feel very fatigued and still have sharp stomach pain...especially when it is empty.
Avatar n tn It does get worse, but only for a few seconds to a few minutes, after both eating and drinking. Sometimes when walking for a prolonged period of time, it also starts to hurt, though not "stop me in my tracks" intensely. My bowel movements are pretty infrequent, only once in the last 2 days, and have had a noticeable loss in appetite and slight bloating. The pain has gotten better since it started (the first night it woke me from my sleep), but it is still very noticeable.
Avatar m tn For the last six months I have been having this burning, crampy pain in my stomach. It makes me feel like I want to vomit and belch. But mostly, it is a real bad burning pain. This all started after I was exposed to my mother in law who has H.Pylori. Then, I started having a couple of drinks two nights a week ( either a couple of beers or a couple of Strawberry daiquiris). My stomach has always been very weak and bothersome to me anyhow.

Avatar n tn Every time I eat, i get a sharp pain in my stomach. This has been going on since as long as I can remember ( since I was little, i'm 23 now ). The pain is feels like a knife is going into my stomach, and is severe.
Avatar f tn t make very hot...well when I drink it I have the worst stomach pain going across my stomach anyone know what it could be?
Avatar f tn Woke up this morning with really bad off and on stomach pains. Eating or drinking makes it worse. I'm sweating and also shivering with no fever. My doctor won't pick up. What should I do?
Avatar n tn Every night I hv alot ov pain in my stomach is it normal I m 18 wek pragnent
Avatar m tn My Problem: I am a competitive cyclist on a semi-pro cycling team. I find that when I'm riding at an intensity greater than 70% V02MAX, which is the effort I can sustain for one hour, that after about 10-15min my stomach starts to get very upset. It hurts so much that I normally have to get off the bike. For the next 15-30min the pain will increase and I'll start to have yellow diarrhea for the next 1-3 hours, at this point the pain subsides a bit, say 3 out of 10 on the pain scale.
Avatar f tn Hi I'm a 19 yr old female, not an alcoholic but I do drink a fair bit when an opportunity arises. In the past 2 nights ive gone out and drank a fair bit, wine/vodka, and I've woken up in the morning with severe abdominal pain in my right side, almost like menstrual cramps but burning, and a dull ache on the right side of my back. The pain brings me to tears and I need a hot water bottle and two panadols to ease the pain. It's never happened after drinking before, only the two times.
Avatar m tn You could be dehydrated, alchol really dehydrates the body, if your dehydrated it will make you heart rate increase, add the alchol and vomiting and your body is probably depleted, I would recommend drinking a bottle of gatorade or lots of water. My heart races after one drink so I avoid it completely now If your still not feeling well I would have it checked out.
665587 tn?1265946924 I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this or not, but here goes. My husband is laying in bed with severe stomach pain and refuses to go to ER...he says "it's the stomach flu...eveyone has it" My concern is this...he had this for 1 day in November, another on Christmas day that lasted 30 hours, and again today....it woke him up at about 1 am and been hurting since. Now he says it's getting better. The only other symptoms are chills...no nasea, no diarrahea, no fever..
Avatar n tn My husband recently quit drinking after 20 years. He is concerned because the bloating in his stomach has not gone down. He has been sober for two months. Could this be something other than "Beer Belly"? It seems swollen and hard, not like fat.
Avatar n tn I also suffer from stomach pain after eating eggs and this has gone on for years. Lately however in addition, I have started breaking out in hives after drinking diet soda. I thought perhaps it was the aspertame used as a sweetner, but I have no trouble when I drink and eat other foods and powdered drinks containing aspertame. It's just when I drink diet soda.
7702223 tn?1394319054 Every time I walk my stomach gets really tight and it hurts. The pain is like my whole stomach it's not just one spot. Does this happen to anyone else? It really hurts and it only happens when I walk.. what causes this?
