Lot of this going around read the post that will be below this one , the coughing maybe causing the vomiting,Strep throat can cause these symptoms so I do suggest that you have the Doctor take a look at her , she may need some meds.,but it may also be stomach flu .whichever, its good to get it checked out ..
All I want is a real answer. Can vomit transmit hiv or not? Some sites say yes, and others say no way. If vomit touched my hand, and then a few minutes later I got a cut in the same spot, without washing my hand yet, am I at risk? Im so sick of thinking about this. Has anyone ever gotten hiv from vomit?
The only reason i started vomiting i had really bad cold n cough at 10wks. I hve still got flu n i vomit straight away which is not right 4 my stomach. I would say see ur doctor if its stomach bug thy wilk tell u take something not harmful to baby. Simple stomach bugs are treatable unless its listeria or sumthing. Try not to eat things which cause nausea. Take care and drink plenty of water.
After a few days later, I had a really bad stomach pain in the morning, with the feeling of wanting to vomit and the stool turned dark. So, I stopped taking the medicine and I thought the flu has already gone away. After that I didn't really have enough rest properly and have not been eating well. Also, I consistently have the loss of appetite and discomfort in the stomach. And now, 3 weeks later, the discomfort is worse and I think I also have a fever again.
t feel the vomit stage come on but I do feel nauseous and sour stomach which compels me to lay down for about an hour when I then feel much better and go on with my day. I starting to realize this isn't really normal stomach behavior. Can someone help me (I realize I need to go to the doctor but advice RIGHT NOW would be much appreciated). Thanks.
got tested Jan 12th and everything was negative...but later in Jan I got sick with the stomach flu that lasted a day and after that everything was fine. In march the same stomach bug came back only last a day and I was fine. today the same stomach bug came back and once I vomited and passed stool..I'm fine. it'll starts with smelly burps ...like acid reflux and then wind up I vomit. I. got tested 8-9 weeks after my first unprotected encounter...and it was negative...
Thanks for the response, I was worried because I read that it's typical to feel symptoms of the flu early on, since herpes is a virus. I read that diarrhea can occur too. When i looked up the flu virus, diarrhea didn't appear to be one of the symptoms. It is one of the symptoms for stomach flu, but from what I saw, not one of the flu. I don't think I have stomach flu though, since I didn't vomit or anything.
You're just probably coming down with a stomach flu. Gassy, throwing up sounds like a stomach flu.
My 13year old daughter is having sharp stabbing pain in right side of stomach, Fever up to 101.6. Vomit taste like acid and yellow. Lays in fetal position and nothing stays down after eating.
She tested negative for Flu, and All past gallbladder test are negative.
Her dr is gone out of office till Tomarrow.

I had a stomach bug on Wednesday the 6th of February consisting of mainly nausea and diarrhea, I wasn't able to vomit. I have had this my entire pregnancy off and on. It is normal to be sick to your stomach and even to vomit. The diarrhea may not be normal, could be something you ate or a stomach flu. Just remember to drink lots of water, you do not want to become dehydrated. It will onky get worse :/ I hope you feel better soon! Im 33 weeks and 3 days, and i feel like i havw a bad stomach ache, if i sit or lay a certain way i have sharp pains in my back, and i feel like i need to vomit. If it doesnt get better should i go to the er, or could it be from the position of the baby?
) I got what I presumed was a bad case of either food poisoning or gastroenteritis (stomach flu). Before bed, even though I felt a bit queezy, I had a serving of yoghurt. My stomach ached, but I've experienced this before after yoghurt, so I wasn't worried and promptly fell asleep.
Several hours later I woke up with stomach cramps, gas pains and the irresistible urge to vomit. I rushed to the bathroom and started (violently) puking. Shortly thereafter I also got watery diarrhea.
I have no kind of acid reflux disease to my knowledge. N yes I have a crampy pain with it as well. I am still feeling the crampy pain and the burning but the vomiting has stopped. I am starting to eat but not a lot.
