539694 tn?1434565947 I am including this in a couple of forums for the sake of coverage. Over the past 6 months I haven't gone more than a couple of days without severe coughing and headaches. I also seem to alternate between a constantly running nose where I'll literally cough out liquid mucus in clear streams to the opposite where my nose, chest and throat seem blocked by green/brown mucus that is literally as thick as sludge. I've never had anything like this before and I just can't shift it.

5421936 tn?1378849147 So my daughter was throwing up on Saturday until about late afternoon. No other symptoms. I woke up today...stomach ache, headache, body ache, throwing up, diarrhea. Can't keep nothing done. No food, ginger ale. My hubby came home and now he has it. Ughhhh I hope this passes like...tonight. I just ate some applesauce and a few saltines and sipping Gatorade. Being 9 months pregnant and stomach flu is not fun at all.
Avatar n tn I have a three year old nephew and this morning he decided to push really hard on the side on my stomach. Could this have caused anything bad to happen I'm only 6weeks so I'm scared it could've caused damage. Is that possible or am I over thinking it?

Avatar f tn a half I have lost a lot of weight but drs dnt seem concerned. Unable to eat because I always have these flu like symptoms, major migranes, and joint pains, nausea, vomiting and dyhradation many ER visits. So I dedcided to look into what I ate and noticed that dairy, seafood, beef, caffeine, chocolate any sugar. These things made my stomach cramp, constipation, migranes, fatigue, dizzy, cold like symptoms, itching. Yet I had been having these symptoms for many years they said I had IBS.
Avatar f tn I just have a question for any mommies out there that have toddlers or even older children but i have a 2 year old step son and it seems every week that we get him (4 days out of the week) he is ALWAYS sick with something whether it be a cold, flu, or just some coughing. But lately i feel like he has been sick way too much for a 2 year old.
Avatar f tn So I've had the stomach flu since Sunday night & its now Thursday morning. I'm starting to get really freaked out that its lasting this long. My symptoms are the usual symptoms, diarrhea, headache, a fever, chills, etc.. I haven't thrown up at all this whole time thankfully. And I thought I was getting better because all the symptoms have went away, except I'm still getting diarrhea. Its just once a day, its not chronic like im running to the bathroom.
Avatar n tn ve noticed she has alot of aggression towards me and is constantly hitting me and always in my stomach. I manage to block her 90-95% of the time and discipline her for doing it. It just seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Would anyone have any suggestions that I could implement that could curb this type of behaviour in my daughter?
Avatar n tn My son (aged 2) has 3 enlarged nodes in his neck, one over 2inch long and pretruding, and one in his groin. He has seen the pedritician and they have said that 2 in his neck and 1 in his groin are all within the normal limits (although the one is larger than a grape?) the one that is longer than two inches she said was larger than normal but felt ok to her. They did a blood count (normal) and test for glandular fever and told me to not worry.
Avatar n tn He told me I most likely have a sinus infection? Why do I have burning in my stomach and constant nausia? The fever seems to slowly disappearing and the bodyaches as well, but this conitinuous sickness feeling is the hardest part. I can 't stand to eat ANTHING.. I do not understand how this could be a sinus infetion and I took my first dose of antibiotics today(azithromicin) but I am curious will this help?
1770029 tn?1325802355 Hi and sorry you are ill. There is no such thing as "stomach flu" meaning the influenza virus does not cause flu in the stomach. It is considered gastroenteritis. The symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, low grade fever up to 100 degrees and possible cramps are caused by many things, virus or bacterial. However, the most common cause is a virus called Norovirus. It is spead from person to person by fecal oral contamination.
Avatar m tn I normally wouldnt be nervous bc it was low risk but i developed symptoms. 5 days post exposure i had flu like symptoms with fever, night sweats, sore throat, achey muscles, ect... I went to doctor and he said it was probaly the flu. However I received a flu shot 4 months ago!!! So what could it be??After the medicene I was better after 4 days or so. Since then I have terrible diahreaa and upset stomach. Please advise.
Avatar m tn gets around. Two days after I started having flu-like symptoms, achiness, intermittent headache, painful swollen glands in my throat and groin, itchiness. I thought maybe I had gotten herpes but then a couple days later I had a single incident of diarrhea that was followed by 3 days of constipation. Since then (about 3 weeks now) I have gone back and forth between constipation and diarrhea.
Avatar m tn I developed stomach flu like symtoms about 48 hours later, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dehydration, very tired. lost 15 lbs in water weight. But my wife had the stomach flu same symptoms the previous week. Also having some slight discomfort in my urethra. Going to the Dr in the next few days to see if I may have aquired a bladder, UTI infection from the dehydration, and to check for any STD's from the encounter, no discharge or pain when urinating.
Avatar n tn I thought that i was getting better after a couple of days, but soon was awakened with a stomach flu in the middle of the night, I'm not throwing up anymore, but still have diarrhea and a very consistent pain in my abdomen, which I'm pretty sure is gas. Although i haven't been able to walk upright for long amounts of time without the pain becoming overwhelming its almost by my belly button but isn't stuck in one spot. Any help is appreciated.
2050045 tn?1343153733 If it only lasted a couple hours and not several days it was food poisoning...most people get it without even knowing it because they automatically label it as "stomach flu" if your doctor said 2 go if it doesn't go away I wouldn't worry about it if it's finally over with...
