stomach flu late pregnancy

Ugh I know what you mean.

I came on my period in December and my family had the stomach flu for a while.. i caught it a week before my period was due, no throwing up though. it is now January and im 7 days late... what can this mean?

Im not exactly 18-24 weeks pregnant. But at the moment me and my hubby are trying to conceive my period is suppose to start in 2 day. My question is is it possible to start seeing and feeling a different in your breast before your missed period? And is it possible to get more discharge before your missed period?

Lol i had two cuzn that were feeling like they had the flu. bubbly stomach tired couldnt eat smells of food made them sick feeling hot and cold etc. so the fam thought they had the flu especially cause the two girl were feeling sick we thought it was spreading. lol Come to find out they were both pregnant. true story though it could be the flu you should still get a pg test just to be safe.

Anyone else had any stomach flu problems? Try anything u were able to keep down.

I can only imagine how horrible it would feel to get a stomach bug at the end of pregnancy. I had the stomach flu for 24 hours at like 24 weeks and I still think it might have been worse than last time I actually gave birth.

Well yesterday I found a little bit of blood on my underwater but none when I wipe and today I feel sick to my stomach like I have the stomach flu but haven't thrown up but I don't feel like eating and when I ate a little it made me feel worse and my stomach hurts and is upset. Is there a chance I could be pregnant. My cycles are irregular and different each time.

I posted a question earlier but nobody posted anything back, I am really worried as my periods are late and i have done two pregnancy tests which have both been negative; however I am suffering from stomach cramps and have a white creamy discharge,

I would recommend a pregnancy test if late and if its negative then just some TLC and rest. If it gets worse then it could be meningitis and you will need to be seen.

I had the stomach flu about a month ago.. I know how you feel! It's awful.. but just stay hydrated, and lots of rest. If you're worried and can't get ahold of your doctor.. you can always go to the er. Once you stop vomiting, and can eat, eat light! Hope this helps!

At the end of last month I was sick with a stomach flu type thing (Nausea, loss of appetite, and just a really bad stomach feeling in general.) My period was due on the 2nd of this month and it didn't come. It still hasn't come and it's three weeks into this month already. I'm a COMPLETE virgin. I've never even kissed a boy. This is what makes me scared because everything I've looked at on the computer says the most common cause of a missed or late period is pregnancy.

In my previous pregnancy I was12 weeks when I got the flu shot and everything was fine but now I'm 35 week...anyways what is your opinion on getting the flu shot tboa late in my pregnancy?

Has anyone experienced flu like symptoms and bad dizziness/light headedness as a pregnancy sign? Plus runny nose and congestion? I've heard its possible.. But was just curious as to anyones experience with this.

Its not too late to get flu shot, Its just that there has been a flu outbreak but not with a strain that was in the shot. But it does lessen the symptoms. The cramping could be muscle strain from coughing.

sounds like the flu..alot of symptoms u mentioned if it were pregnancy they tend to come later in the trimester sounds like u r coming down w the flu as the flu or any common cold carry alot of the symptoms u mentioned and just the stress of wondering can cause a missed period...

The day before I went into labor I was vomiting and had diarrhea all day. I was 36 weeks and a ftm and hadn't been sick my whole pregnancy so I thought I had the stomach flu or food poisoning. The next morning my water broke and when I went to L&D my obgyn said I wasn't sick my body was just getting ready for labor. So maybe you're going into labor maybe not lol.

The stomach flu is not the flu. The stomach flu is usually caused by the norovirus which is going around as a superbug right now. The flu shot had nothing to do with it.

Omg I totallly feel for you ladies who have been sick your whole pregnacy I have been so lucky to not have those symptoms however I have had the stomach flu for 12 hrs and this is awful straight pain. I now will not.complain about anythig cuz.I'm so helpless there's nothing.
