I'm 25 weeks and 3 days and I have the stomach flu anything I can take to help please let me know

Well that me tell you I wanna punch what ever girl at my work decided to come to work and give me this ...!!!

My 2 yr old son has just vomitted for the 3rd time since I've been home (12am) and 1 more time before that. He pukes and doesn't have a problem passing right back out. For example his last time he roled over and puked, cried a tiny bit and then he passed right back out. 3 days ago I contracted, what I thougt, was food poisening, but all last week my wife's mother was really sick with something... seems to be a coincidence!

If it only lasted a couple hours and not several days it was food poisoning...most people get it without even knowing it because they automatically label it as "stomach flu" if your doctor said 2 go if it doesn't go away I wouldn't worry about it if it's finally over with...

I think I have some kind of stomach flu and have had diaherria all day. I'm a ftm and am worried about it being bad for the baby. Has anyone else gotten sick while pregnant?

t thrown up(yet) but this diarrhea is killing me is there I can do to make it stop or should I call my dr when her office opens? This is my third child and I've never been sick while pregnant so I don't know what to do. Please help!!

You say "I have a 7 month baby and has the stomach flu." Do you mean you have the flu or the baby has the flu? If the latter, go with the advice from margy. If the former, feed the baby as usual, keeping yourself as hydrated as possible. (Stomach flu doesn't transmit in breast milk.

I think I caught the stomach flu from my nephew and my moms helper. I am about to be 36 weeks, so is there anything I can do for it, or do I just have to wait it out? I haven't really ate today and drinking is just as bad. I have gone to the bathroom numerous times today and have been continuously nauseous for about 5 hours.

Hi and sorry you are ill. There is no such thing as "stomach flu" meaning the influenza virus does not cause flu in the stomach. It is considered gastroenteritis. The symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, low grade fever up to 100 degrees and possible cramps are caused by many things, virus or bacterial. However, the most common cause is a virus called Norovirus. It is spead from person to person by fecal oral contamination.

I had the flu recently and it lasted about 5 days. My fever only reached 102. 105 is very serious and you should be in the hospital.

Last Friday (10/24) I felt lousy all day. Nauseous/ bloated. Late in the afternoon I got extremely clammy and got up because I thought I was going to vomit. I made it into the bathroom and started to pass out, turning very pale and feeling numb all over as well as my vision becoming dimmed. I laid down to sleep and felt better. I then had water/loose diarrhea from Fri (10/24) a couple times a day until Mon (10/27). Today is Weds (10/29) and I just had sludge diarrhea.

Has any of you ladies had the stomach flu while pregnant? I got the runs, aching bones, no appetite. my daughter has it too. What can I do to get us better?

So I've had the stomach flu since Sunday night & its now Thursday morning. I'm starting to get really freaked out that its lasting this long. My symptoms are the usual symptoms, diarrhea, headache, a fever, chills, etc.. I haven't thrown up at all this whole time thankfully. And I thought I was getting better because all the symptoms have went away, except I'm still getting diarrhea. Its just once a day, its not chronic like im running to the bathroom.

I thought that i was getting better after a couple of days, but soon was awakened with a stomach flu in the middle of the night, I'm not throwing up anymore, but still have diarrhea and a very consistent pain in my abdomen, which I'm pretty sure is gas. Although i haven't been able to walk upright for long amounts of time without the pain becoming overwhelming its almost by my belly button but isn't stuck in one spot. Any help is appreciated.

Anyone else have or had the stomach flu while pregnant? I'm 4 months and have had the flu for past 2 days. Was given a prescription for zofran but I'm still super exhausted and worried it will hurt the baby all this vomiting and and soreness around my back and stomach.

Could it have been a stomach bug that was caused my the meal? Is it normal for it to still be in my stomach 3 hours after eating it? Is it normal to still feel ill in the morning?

wednesday morning at about 3 am i woke up throwing up.... lasted for about 12 hours....feeling better but queezy....my mom was sick with the "24 hour stomach flu" monday going into tuesday... its now friday and i still feeling crappy....queezy, bubble guts, but havent thrown up....any advise.... i havent ate in 2 days cause im scared to eat anything with the way i been feeling....my hubby says go to hospital or get a prego test??

I'm 12 weeks and I get lower pains in my stomach almost like a flu symptom but with out the naseau or throwing up. Should I be concerned?

Cant believe i have felt like this for almost a week now! Nauseus, diarrhea, stomach pains and no appetite. Doin my best to keep food down and stay hydrated. ive had a sour stomach for 3 days straight + diarrhea, and one day it just stopped but later that night i woke up vomiting i feel pretty bad right now..
