Stomach cramps lower abdominal pain

Common Questions and Answers about Stomach cramps lower abdominal pain

Avatar n tn My doctor prescribed Belladonna Alkaloids tablets, which seemed to relieve the lower abdominal cramps, however the pain migrated to the stomach area. This pain was coming and going and was more of a burning type. When the pain peaked, I felt somewhat nauseous. This pain originated in the center of the upper abdomen (which was tender). Somestimes, it migrated up to where the esophagus ends. I did not have diarrhea, or a fever. I ate normally!
Avatar m tn While eating my nausea got worse and would stop me from eating. My symptoms led on to stomach cramps, upper / lower abdominal cramps/pain, gas, bowels rumbling, slight chills, loss of appetite etc. During this 2 month period I also experienced slight diarrhea, also change in color in my stools from green to nomral brown which went away. However I do notice that my stools seem to be slightly loose or greasy.
Avatar n tn pain near rectum area when I sit down, stomach cramps in lower abdominal area and side cramps, stomach feels upset, like I want to throw.up.
Avatar m tn I have been having lower abdominal pain, in the pelvic area, for a few weeks now. It started off as cramping, like period cramps, then started to become burning pain. I was tested for a UTI but it was negative, as well as had a pelvic ultrasound which came back normal. The pelvic ultrasound was extremely painful, I cried, and it caused me more pain..the tech was pressing hard especially on the side, my hip bone, my pelvic bone..and since then I've been having bone pain.
Avatar n tn Your other problem is the pain or cramps in your lower right abdomen. Please consult a physician and gynecologist about it. There could be various possibilities like involvement of your intestines or ovary or appendix or kidney. It could also be infection of your intestines due to something you had. It’s difficult to say without examining. Let me know what your doctor says. If you need more help, please feel free to contact. I’ll be happy to answer your queries.
Avatar n tn Um... yeah. w/d. From what I've read here and many other places, stomach/abdominal pain is a very normal w/d symptom. I suppose its possible its something else, but I think the chances are extremely small. I don't believe in coincidences. Its between a 7 & and an 8 on the pain scale today, was 9 yesterday. So its getting better I guess. At least for now. Just talked to a nurse at my Docs and he wants me to go to the ER for tests.
Avatar m tn Sometimes the pain radiates to my lower back. I also have severe abdominal cramps and fatigue. I have had numerous blood tests done but nothing has come up with them. I am not sexually active, nor have I been for over 5 years. I have been tested for std's and I am totally clean. I do not have pain when I urinate but, I do urinate more frequently now. I do not have a weak stream.

Avatar n tn I have had lower right abdominal pain for 3 months now. I had done urinalysis and blood work, came back with normal results. Also had pregnancy tests, and gynological exam done all of it was normal. Dr suspected ovarian cysts so I had abdominal and pelvic ultrasound - results again normal. They put me on a birth control pill - that did not help still constant dull abdominal pain in Lower right quadrant. Dr suggested Laparoscopy, where he removed adhesion and a little endometriosis.
Avatar f tn For about 5 weeks now I've had severe pain in my right lower abdominal area. When the pain started it was more bothersome like a period cramp then it won't hurt anymore for a day or 2 then I'm doubled over again for a series of days. I'm on Day #2 of shear misery. I'm slightly nauseous, little to no vomiting, hurts when I move, only relief comes from lying down with my legs extended, no major change in bowel habits, no fever........
Avatar n tn For the past 5 months, I've been having intense pain in my lower back/lower right quadrant of my stomach. It should be noted that whenever I'd have menstrual cramps, these are the same types of pains I'd have. Except the pains became constant...everyday versus just around my period. They're so intense and achy, that it takes Vicodin for me to be able to handle the pain. Vicodin!
Avatar n tn It feels like the stomach is bloated and now the pain is in the lower right region. constant slight throb pain and when i press it it hurts, there are no lumps. My stools look perfect, i feel like i am full of gas but am not flatuating too much. I thought it might be appendicitis, but i am not sure. I do feel bloated in the stomach area and the belly button is protuding more. What do you think it is and can i get my belly button to go in again? 1.
Avatar f tn I have had a lower left stomach discomfort/pain for sometime now. I am a female aged 33 yrs old. It started on March07, I woke up with sharp pain on my left ovary. I rushed to the emergency room where I was treated and went home. The doctor told me it was one of the ovarian cyst or infection from my bowl movement. I was given pain killers and antibiotics that I finished and was told the pain will go away after I had my period.
Avatar f tn I am on my first cycle of clomid (day 22) and I have been having some intense lower abdominal pain, bloating, and cramping. It seems to get worse as the day progresses (in the morning's it doesn't hurt as bad). It was really bad yesterday (day 21) and my husband and I couldn't even have sex because I could feel a pressure/pain during it. Is this normal?? I read somewhere that taking clomid can cause cysts on your ovaries...should I go to the doctor.
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing lower abdominal pain for the past year. i am a 16 year old female and 8 weeks ago had a laparoscopy to try to find out what the cause was. they didn't find anything but said that on the right side my bowel looked full and they said i was constipated but said they removed my appendix anyway whilst they were in there. since then i had severe stomach cramps with constipation and diarrhea for about 3 weeks and the doc gave me some stuff to try to calm it down.
781843 tn?1236061576 The symptom that is bothering me most are lower back pain and lower abdominal pain. It is like bad menstrual cramps but all month long. Sometimes these cramps seem to go into my hips and legs. There have also been changes in bowel habits. I am overweight so I cannot tell if there is any swelling in my stomach area but sometimes it just feels like there is "something" there when I bend over - if that makes any sense.
Avatar n tn I have the abdominal pain which gets worse after eating a meal. I also get the noises in my stomach, the best way I can describe it is like a gurgurling sound (very annoying). When you mention about the stomach cramps and pain can you tell me if the pain is more severe when your daughter is having her period? The reason I ask this is because I always suffer from severe period pains and am doubled up in pain. The only thing that takes the edge of the pain is sitting in a hot bath for hours.
1040763 tn?1254949297 I've been having lower left abdominal cramps/dull achy spasmy feeling. I'm hesitant to even say pain. I've had chest X-ray, ct scan and loads of blood work. So far only thing they discovered was a slightly enlarged spleen. Lot of the blood work and chest X-ray was all done after they found the enlarged spleen. Everything else has been negative/normal. So you aren't alone. Unfortunately just have to keep going to doctors and let them figure it out.
Avatar f tn Hello I'm new here I'm in my first trimester am I suppose to feel stomach cramps at the bottom of my stomach
216278 tn?1308864682 Hi..I am feeling for the last day or two, this pain in my lower abdomen (under my belly button, in the middle) that isn't cramps, i thought it was....but it gets worse if I sit in my desk chair and lean forward or sit up straight! Has anyone had anything like this?
Avatar n tn Hey everyone, the lower abdominal pain (disturbance) and penile related pain may be many things. Asked to be referred to an Urologist by your family doctor as soon as you get the chance. Your family doctor may want to do a blood test, to see what nurtrients are present or not in your blood. If the test are negative, then a visit with the urologist may help. The symptoms mentioned above are sometimes associated with something that is called Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS).
Avatar m tn Can stomach pain from h pylori also cause pain in the intestines (which is where the right sided mid/lower pain seems to be)? Also, about a year ago I had colon resection surgery for diverticulitis in my descending colon. Is it possible that diverticulosis may have developed in my ascending colon? The pain in my lower abdomen is not like the pain I had when I had diverticulitis but I can't help but wonder if this is what I have again. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Also after my second treatment I got shingles... both on my head and across my stomach... there was pain before the break out... shingles seems to be common with chemo...
