Can stomach pain from h pylori also cause pain in the intestines (which is where the right sided mid/lower pain seems to be)? Also, about a year ago I had colon resection surgery for diverticulitis in my descending colon. Is it possible that diverticulosis may have developed in my ascending colon? The pain in my lower abdomen is not like the pain I had when I had diverticulitis but I can't help but wonder if this is what I have again. Thank you.

But for the last couple months i get abdominal almost worse then period cramps and my lower back hurst so bad. Also when I have intercourse it hurts so bad. This pain usually lasts for about a week each time. It does go away for about two or three weeks but then comes back..

I am 29+4 and I went to the hospital yesterday because I had cramps in my lower stomach and my whole stomach was tightening. They put me on pelvic rest because they were actual contractions, not braxton Hicks like I originally thought. My lower back hurt as well. I would at least call your doctor.

My 13 yr. old daughter has started experiencing lower stomach pains while running during PE and basketball practice. She has been unable to complete the required mile and says the pain is quite intense. She ran track last spring and was able to run more than that without any problems. A flexible sigmoidoscopy showed nothing, but blood tests showed originally neutropenia, and now slight monocytosis. eversince i have started trying to concieve, i ve been having some wierd lower abdominal cramps, which is similar to menstrual cramps.my periods are very regular(28days cycle). the cramping appears around a week after ovulation and continues every now and then till almost few days before the period appears.no much pain during actual period. last month my periods came 5 days later than the expected date and that was quite unusual. this month the cramping has started again.

I suffer from lower abdominal cramps only when I drink water whilst running, the pain is very similar to period pain, I have to stop as i feel nauseous. Suffering with knee aches and pains at the moment too also getting constipation. Get the odd lower stomach cramps but this upper one frightened me. So wondering if it is all connected to the really severe pain I had yesterday. I did take 10mg of morphine for lower cramps that morning, I did have slight pain to upper abdominal then, but it got worse after morphine, although the lower cramps got better.
