Avatar f tn Exercising with undigested food in the gastrointestinal tract can cause digestive distress. Likewise, exercising on an empty stomach also may lead to feelings of nausea. An April 2001 study published in "Appetite" examined the effects of high and low-intensity exercise on subjects who underwent various eating patterns. Each participant exercised on an empty stomach immediately after eating a beef patty and 60 minutes after eating.
Avatar n tn Water can make a sloshing sound in your stomach. Are you hydrating a lot before or while working out?
Avatar f tn I took a laxative at 6:30Am and it helped but now I have stomach cramps. How can I relieve the cramps?? Thank you.

Avatar f tn Tomorrow I will be 5 weeks into my first pregnancy! I used to go to the gym/run/bike ride almost everyday before I found out. I did a little bit of research on a bodybuilding website which stated it's still ok to exercise however very lightly. I'm wondering if this is a wise choice? I've been to the gym this past week a couple times to do cycling and used the machines to lift very little to no weight. I've been cramping like crazy.
Avatar n tn It is important to stay hydrated, but exercising with a stomach full of fluid or food can give you side aches. Hydrate the night preceding a big match and don't drink more then 1/2 cup of water within a half hour preceding the match and another 1/2 cup of water during. Rehydrate yourself afterward. It is good to hear you a so active keep it up!
Avatar f tn No period for two months, and other than my two pregnancies, I have never missed a period. I am NOT pregnant, already had that confirmed. I am having stomach cramps mainly every morning for about 2-3 weeks. I now have a fullness of stomach, food coming back up in my esophagus and can't finish all my food. I am 33, I have other health problems that we are tying to diagnose, but I keep getting stomach issues here and there.
Avatar f tn Is it okay for me to go jogging? I'm 6 weeks pregnant and feel like my stomach is so big because of not being pregnant but because I'm fat.
Avatar m tn I am newly pregnant-just 4 weeks and I am having this weird tension, uncomfortable like pain very low in my pelvis/uterus. It hurts to sneeze or cough and makes exercising uncomfortable too. I am just wondering if this is normal? I'm fine when just hanging out ect.. Just hoping this is normal.
Avatar n tn Is it normal to get cramps on ur belly.? Not like period cramps more like leg cramps or foot cramps where it feels like ur muscles tighten up. I just got one really bad close to my rib when the baby was by it and it had never happened before.
Avatar f tn I'm 18+3, and I REALLY need to start exercising. I'm hoping it will help my horrible back pain. What are some good exercises to do while pregnant? I don't want to overwork myself.
Avatar n tn Yes, this is normal. As your uterus grows to accommodate your growing baby, it will contract and stretch, or "cramp". Increasing your water intake to stay hydrated and exercising can both help alleviate these pains. Tylenol can also help. If you're concerned about them, bring them up at your next doctors appointment or call and speak to one of the staff nurses.
Avatar n tn I am 16 and I have had abdominal discomfort for about 3 months now. I have recently done an upper endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound, and have not been reported anything. I've had pain like two months ago; I don't feel any pain at all now for like maybe 3-4 weeks. Maybe from time to time I've had some slight pain/cramps - moderate pain/cramps. My main symptom is rumbling near my butt and sometimes my stomach, therefore I have a lot of gas.
Avatar n tn I used to be very active, but now at 41 yrs I have been out of exercising. I want to get back to it, but at 10 min on a treadmill at a reasonable walking pace I feel my blood sugar dropping. I have a glucose monitor at it has been about 65. Endrocrinologist has said I am reactive hypoglycemic but has no reasons for it. Without exercising I run about 85-95 very consistently even when I feel like I am "running low". So, I am afraid to exercise and I miss it!!!
Avatar n tn I'm so exhausted and in brink of tears from sciatic pain already and cramps! Anything to relieve this stretching seems to make mine worse ?
Avatar n tn my strength is gone, my feet hurt wearing shoes, i have stomach pain when exercising, and ave thigh muscle cramps, neck pain, and can't sleep. I had confusion when driving, so i told my doctor i'm done with this. I know where i'm going these days, but I now use a walker around the house, elastic knee braces to walk on my own. I ache and hurt all the time... so beware of this ... Lilly gave it to me free and i'm so very sorry i ever went with this treatment.
Avatar f tn It is great you are exercising! If you want to decrease your abdominal area, suggest doing crunches or any exercises for the abdomen. Yoga is great all around for your body. Recommend consuming daily 1600-1800 calories to help, along with exercising, to lose weight. Thank you for your question.
Avatar f tn She has been tested for Celiac disease before, but it came back negative. Could she be suffering from this and just have a false negative test? She does get stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, headaches, fatigue, etc. What could be causing this?
Avatar f tn So I had my 1st baby (now 4yr old) back in 2010, and I JUST found out that I'm having baby number 2. The 1st time I had no problems at all. Avatar f tn I am wondering what others do for pain management. I get cramps from hell every month and have been prescribed pain medication to help deal with it, but that only does so much. I also try using heating pads, eating more foods with potassium, exercising, etc. and I still can't seem to get control over the bad cramps I have. Anyone have any other suggestions? Things they have tried with success?
